Murfallo: I see where you are coming from, but I'll have to disagree with you on this one. People have been dropping codes on the general forum, in the release and promo threads for years. This is not something that you can completely reroute to IAmSinistar and I don't think that this monopoly is a goal worth pursuing. I believe it will be detrimental for the community as a whole.

And I don't see how me waiting for a PM before sending codes is going to help. It's just extra management, while the scammer will only need a dozen seconds longer before he secures his codes. It's not like I'm going to perform background checks on applicants.
Well you don't really have to wait for pm.

Put a deadline ; note those interested

then use a service such as : https://www.random.org/lists/ , for each game

that doesn't prevent some to enter (except if you put some rules) , but at least that prevents bots & leechers who will never thank you >_>

it's just a suggestion.

Sending the codes for Sinistars giveaway was just one alternate solution, so you don't have to check who you're giving what. A way for you to not make those checks, since you don't want to, and to avoid just dropping codes. By no means did I mean that his Community Giveaway should have some monopoly. But it's better to give codes to him, than to just drop them like this. Yes, it's been done for years, but that does not mean it should still be done. I very much appreciate that you want to give games away, but there are good and bad ways to do it.

I sent out friend requests to those, who wanted codes.
PookaMustard will be getting STALKER, Vehdra will be getting Xenonauts and theorangekid will be getting SimCity 2000.
I will PM codes once you accept the request, since the forum apparently still doesn't allow PMs to strangers.
