Our moderation team decided not to take a side in the discussion since this giveaway thread was created by the community and, as long as there are no forum rules violated, is up to you, dear Gogers, to decide its fate. We will not set giveaway rules, edit the OP's post, nor lock the whole thread.

However, to make it easier for newcomers to understand the situation (about the OP being inactive and other), I will stick my own post right above the first one.

You are, of course, free to create new threads to start anew and make your own, clear rules. At the same time, please stay reasonable when crating them, as multiple new duplicates might make it even more confusing for many Gogers.

Just an addition (since I just tried it). You won't know what Steam key you get untiil you have redeemed it. So no use to get this if you want to donate it to a giveaway. (In case seomone is inteersted - I got the same as MaxFulvus).

Developer Mikeypoo's Games has set their content on Steam to free-to-play. From one of the game pages:

"The Grandfather" is going FREE TO PLAY this month and so are my other games and films. Stay tuned.

Due to the wording I'm not 100% sure if they just mean their content will be free for July only, or if this change is permanent.

I think it means that from this month and on the games will be forever free. And probably he will stop doing what he is doing and move forward to something else.

Anyway it does not even matter since both games don't need the Steam client to run at all (tried it myself). So if you want to be sure download those small games and archive them elsewhere.

Hi guys, I've got a question about the Indiegala Golden Flash GA.

I tried to redeem the code, and it turns out to be "a game already in my library", HOWEVER, steam doesn't tell me what exactly it is. And when it tries to install it, I always got a connection failure. So, I wonder if there's a way to tell which game the key is for? Now I feel kinda stupid...imagine that "Hi, zeo, I've got a key to donate. It's a steam key for, uh, for..."

I think your best bet would be to send mail to support at Indiegala explaining your particular situation. You can also send same mail to Steam support, but I recommend contacting Indiegala first since you have obtained the key there.
