Our moderation team decided not to take a side in the discussion since this giveaway thread was created by the community and, as long as there are no forum rules violated, is up to you, dear Gogers, to decide its fate. We will not set giveaway rules, edit the OP's post, nor lock the whole thread.

However, to make it easier for newcomers to understand the situation (about the OP being inactive and other), I will stick my own post right above the first one.

You are, of course, free to create new threads to start anew and make your own, clear rules. At the same time, please stay reasonable when crating them, as multiple new duplicates might make it even more confusing for many Gogers.

Similar thing happened some months ago (might've even been last year, I don't remember for certain). I pretty much said the same thing ("a thank you from whoever took it would've been nice") then. The lurker in question PMd me, and it was someone I knew on here, someone reasonably well known with a good reputation (not to be confused with a "high rep number"). He said he thanked the gifter privately instead of publicly because he feared downrepping on all his posts......this was during the great downrepping era that some are still suffering through today.

So maybe it was a lurker, maybe it was a leech, or maybe it was just someone who doesn't want to be downrepped for the next 6 months. But I will say, it wasn't me.

I won a key for SLR: Redline with 69 credits! Couldnt believe it because the average credits in that round was 297.

I tend to agree with you. Rep was a good idea that ended up being abused and is now both pointless and misleading.

There's nothing wrong with rep itself, what's wrong is negative rep. That system has just never worked in the history of forums. It has been abused everywhere it has been implemented. It's a way for angry people and mob mentality to bully their perceived enemies.

Lost Odyssey (Xbox 360) is free right now on xbox.com. This is might be a price mistake so better get it while it's free.
