[This is a sticky post, it will be visible in every single page of this thread. It has been published in October 2020.]

Our moderation team decided not to take a side in the discussion since this giveaway thread was created by the community and, as long as there are no forum rules violated, is up to you, dear Gogers, to decide its fate. We will not set giveaway rules, edit the OP's post, nor lock the whole thread.

However, to make it easier for newcomers to understand the situation (about the OP being inactive and other), I will stick my own post right above the first one.

You are, of course, free to create new threads to start anew and make your own, clear rules. At the same time, please stay reasonable when crating them, as multiple new duplicates might make it even more confusing for many Gogers.

That being said, here you can find a post with dxenija's community poll to have better understanding of the situation: CLICK.

At the time of writing, open giveaway threads are:
- Massive Giveaways Blog
- Free (temporary) keys giveaway central topic. (this one)
- Updated Itch.io giveaways

Be nice to each other *flies away*

wolfsrain: They never had those on Origin. But they are not selling them anymore on any medium (physical disc or digital copy). EA has a fragton of games that never went in the digital library. And they should....
That's a major issue with EA/Origin.They literally make the first games in series extinct so you have the only option to buy the newer games (and more expensive)
I've been looking to get earlier Command & Conquer games, earlier Need for Speed games, earlier Formula, Battlefield 2, The Sims 2, and I can't find them to buy them.

Oh, and let's not forget Origin is the first client to mark one of the games in my library as "expired" (not playable). "Need for speed World" is the game and I know it was for free, but I fear at the thought they can do that to my library.
I think all the Command and Conquer are available on Origin (C&C Ultimate Collection). But, yeah, the old catalogue is vastly unavailable.

So if I want Battlefield 2, I've no choice but to get it via a torrent? And to think I would buy the Battlefield 2 box I saw at a Virgin... or will the BF2 box work fine?

Is NFS World a strictly online game with closed down servers? If so, that's justified. What's not justified would be closing my access to an earlier game.

If the code wasn't used on an EA account, you can register that code in Origin.

An EA account is literally an Origin account, so it should be okay I guess. Plus, I made an account after it became Origin.

Yeah, the serial from the Mass Effect DVD I purchased ages ago was promptly recognized by the Origin client a short while back... tried the same thing with several old Ubisoft games on Uplay but no dice...
guy i dont trust origin because the support suck and i mean it they dont have method to contact support you cant even send an e-mail to support if you have problem and if you try to contact with chat with the game advisor it for me at least
i never connect to talk about my problem. The only legit way to contact support is to call them by phone which you have to pay for it they even want you to pay for the support and yeah it is not a joke. And the last way to contact support is that you will give them your phone number and they will call you back, but really now guys after all this i dont trust them to give my phone number :/ and even this method wont work in every country so be careful and remember origin is EA platform so yeah they want you to pay for everything just be careful.
i hope i will help someone

and something that i forgot the have also forum for "support" and guess what the just give you obvious answers and i dont talk about users but about moderators who's job is to "help" people but they just dont care to help.

if you want to use origin save some money because you will need one more thing "DLC-Support"

? EA Help->Contact Us should take you here. Product, platform, topic, send. Doesn't that appear for you?

Final Fantasy II (Google Play, iTunes) is free until 2/14/16 as an in-app purchase through the Final Fantasy Portal App.

FF Portal Google Play
FF Portal iTunes

Note: On Google Play, it is free as long as don't delete the Portal App from your device. If you try to redownload the game after the free period you will be charged. iTunes users however can recover their in-app purchases and redownload as much as they like.

BenKii: Portal
If it was this then I would be more happy.

There is no email option, same as GOG doesn't have an email option. You contact them through the site, not sure if they then reply through email or not. But you should be able to contact them without using the phone.
