Our moderation team decided not to take a side in the discussion since this giveaway thread was created by the community and, as long as there are no forum rules violated, is up to you, dear Gogers, to decide its fate. We will not set giveaway rules, edit the OP's post, nor lock the whole thread.

However, to make it easier for newcomers to understand the situation (about the OP being inactive and other), I will stick my own post right above the first one.

You are, of course, free to create new threads to start anew and make your own, clear rules. At the same time, please stay reasonable when crating them, as multiple new duplicates might make it even more confusing for many Gogers.

I stopped mentioning that fact, because there are a few users who just can't believe that. (Scroll up)

Playrix games need a full install with a few files "hidden". They are not portable without finding those files.
Don't worry, it seems like the kind of original match 3 game that I would enjoy, and not the overdone Bejeweled in Candy flavor. I did read about that sometime ago.

Indeed. The initial self-extracting archive is wrapped inside a DRM form that makes it valid for one day. However, since the game is included inside a self-extracting archive instead of an installer, one can re-pack the game again and keep it DRM-free.

As long as the games I get can be made portable and then backed up to an HDD, a DVD, or a cloud service and still be perfectly usable for the future I'm fine dealing with that initial DRM.

What I'm not fine with is the game breaking out the moment I decide to replace my Windows OS for instance and thus, with broken or missing registries, the game refuses to work without the original installer, which was wrapped in a 1-day-use DRM. Today's game belongs to the portable type and therefore, I don't need to obtain it from any other source anymore to be played offline.

Found the deal on reddit. North American users have to go to the NA site and use promo code "omikron" at checkout but it looks like it's all sold out now. All there is now is a waiting list. Signed up for it and hoping they get more in stock.
