I just noticed that Humble Store has just started a summer sale, and that they're giving away Stealth Inc. 2: A Game of Clones (a sequel to the very cool Stealth Bastard and Stealth Bastard Deluxe) free over here. Thought I'd spread the news :)
Thanks for the heads-up!
Thanks for the info. +1

What is even more better is that humble bundle is allowing people to build there own bundles.

I suppose steam and gog has never done this before.

Took a free key but I'll certainly double dip here if I like the game. Always happy to support a good dev making good games. Thanks for the heads up!
Humble bundle is allowing it to buy as gift without any expiration date.
Which means people can buy and abuse the system as much as they want.
They should limit gifting option for free game.

GOG has done "build your own bundle" style sales several times in the past. It has been a while since GOG had a blockbuster sale (not since Summer one) so hopefully we will see another novelty sales event in the near future.

Grabbed a copy, I've heard it's supposed to be quite a good game.

And god damn why does Valkyria Chronicles have to be Steam only :(
Really tempting at that price...

Thanks for the heads up. The first one was quite cool.
Thanks for letting us know. And it's great that they also give away free DRM-free versions this time. In their last sale the Humble Store only gave away Steam keys even when they normally have a DRM-free version.

I loved Stealth Bastard Deluxe and the sequel would have been a day-one-purchase for me. But unfortunately they wanted regional pricing (with higher price points than the base price) and I boycott this pricing model. Great for me that they give it away for free now.

No. It does expire.

Thanks to Accatone for bringing it up.

Hey! Thanks for checking out Stealth Inc 2. This FREE stuff is available until September 14, 2015 at 10am Pacific. Afterwards it all disappears, so make sure to grab your Steam key and downloads now!

Already downloaded. When I saw that on my page this morning I thought it was a little odd, so I came here to check out if others had this same message.
Luckily here, people are aware of the odd business practices in use today.

regarding selfmade bundles there is actually a nice way of e.g. bundling Game of Thrones with2 of the 99Cent games and then you can get Game of Thrones (+ the 2 99 cent games) for a steal of 7,59€ - might be useful for some

So the game will vanish from my account after September, 14, 2015? This is quite stupid. I can understand why unredeemed gift keys should expire after a certain date, but removing a game from an active account? I don't see the sense.

Anyway, I made a backup from everything (I always do), so I don't really have to worry.
