The double helix triple backspin stab to the face DLC.

With the just released, highly anticipated Patch 1.07 our hunt is more accessible, more convenient and all around better. But while business is business for professional Witchers, it's also high time for something with a bit more... pizzazz.

Forget Wolf School, here comes the Cool School, and Geralt just picked up a few new tricks at Kewl Morhen. Today's DLC introduces a pack of all-new combat finishers to truly take your sword skills to the next level of badass.

Blood, guts and gory… It's the White Wolf now with more bite, in this week episode of the FREE DLC Program!

INSTALLING THE FREE CONTENT:

Here is how you can grab and install your new DLC in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Add the 16 FREE DLC Program to your account from its product page. It's like buying a game, but free.

A) If you're using GOG Galaxy:

--Select The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt from the sidebar to open its game page.
--Click on the drop-down labeled "More", (located next to the PLAY button) and choose "Configure".
--The Configure page will feature all available DLCs listed towards the bottom.
--Select each DLC that you want to install, and GOG Galaxy will do the rest. If you want to remove the DLC from your game, simply uncheck the selection box.

B) If you're using the website:

You can download installers for each DLC pack manually. Simply head to the Library section of My Account, locate The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, and download the files you want. Afterwards, run each one as if you were installing a game or patch.

If anyone is actively having issues with stutters or crashes in Witcher 3, and is using Nvidia, try finding the 353.38 drivers. I have absolutely no idea why .30 is not only still the "latest" version of the driver, but also how the hell it got out of beta status when something as improved as .38 is still "beta". If you can't guess, yes it made a tremendous difference for me upgrading to .38, not only for the Witcher 3 but virtually every other game. In addition to stability, I have gains ranging from 5% to about 30% in various games, with W3 showing about 10-15%. Anyway, I was away from gaming for a couple weeks and I was so sure that I was going to see two things when I got back: 1) A comprehensive patch for the tragedy known as the Arkham Knight PC port, or at the very least some type of free game compensation from Rocksteady, and 2) Nvidia pushing 353.38 super hard as an almost mandatory update, especially for 9XX cards and those in SLI. I guess I was wrong on both counts!

if not thats ok for ignorance as long as its not arrogance mates

many reasons, you can now link with steam and play with mates there
they are also trying to make the same cloud so steam users merge here as most want cards or achievements
so yes its very important to get these to work on the games slated for them

same as any other game

would i like the game fixed more than achievements ? oh hells yes!
but this last patch seemed to harm far more than it fixed ( and im not counting achievements in this list)

but again you are barking up a really wrong gog tree here

google and do research on the WHO and WHY's of GOG GALAXY and you will see how vastly important mimicing STEAMS achievements and linking the two truly are to the team here.

again mighhht want to check on what GOG is trying to do with the galaxy cloud/hub interface and understand that they are indeed trying to mimic valves steam, in hopes more come here,
which seems to be workin for the most part

but having broken in game stuff is far more important,
but mate stop refering to out side stuff like war, politics or religion or starvation of nations vs this game, it makes you look really , ughh

people want achievements, if you dont fine thats alll good, this doenst hurt the game play ANY this much we can agree on. but what it does stall, is the continued play after beating the game,
esp when the achievements didnt work right the first 2 play throughs and my 3rd is an attempt to get these achievements.

I had the same problem, somehow Gog Galaxy simply wouldnt refresh the available dlc list.
In my frustration I wondered whether I should try verify/repair or just manually install it.

I ended up switching the language to english to see if its shown there but I didnt know that this would actually already result in galaxy deinstalling the language pack for my language.

Which I then had to reinstall and download 3 gb for. But at least now gog galaxy shows the finishers dlc

If you look under my name it says (United States)

1st I was born in california and I live there still to this day
2nd ive traveled ALOT for gaming and touring with bands as tour manager and promoter

so when I spent time in the uk, mate just became, lingo for me,

just know this, GOG galaxy aims to match and mimic steams cloud and achievements in order to pull some people away from steam, (so far its working)

it also lets you link with steam users to play WITH them from here.
that said, many steam users will be coming here, and if you think my syntax is poor, MATE, you have a bad time in gog forums ahead.

Ive said nothing to offend, im pointing out fact not opinion.
my only opinion is that without the achievements working playing is pointless after your 3rd or 4th play.
until at least october anyway.

Whailor: I don't know what people are whining about. Achievements? Can't care less, they mean nothing, they add nothing. Constant crashes? I haven't had a crash for ages, since the release the game has crashed on me, in total, 3 times and I've played this game for several hundreds of hours in total (gotta try out all endings and such). Loads of quest bugs? Don't know, I don't have so far any bugs, all the quests I get I can finish and none has bugged out. So I don't really know what some here are crying about. Main thing I wanted from 1.07 was a stash and I got it, heck I can even sell crossbow bolts to vendors now, a bonus! Rest was and still is fine for me *shrug*
Wow, you're a real sack of shit. Just because you were lucky enough not to get any bugs doesn't mean other players are in the same boat as you.

Please release patch 1.08 asap. I cant play any of the new content and currently have 2 versions of the game on my pc wich is taking up a load of space. This is due to constant freezing and the game has become unplayable for me. Great FPS but freezes due to my dual core cpu ever 10 seconds, where in patch 1.06 it was fine I had none of these issues. Please guys! Even if you have to make a seperate patch for dual core users I dont mind if fps drops or whatever as long as it stops freezing the entire time.

The game crashes/freezes with an obscene amount of crashes at times... Even with an older nvidia driver...

about 90% of consumers buy steam games that
a. have cards
or
b. have achievements

or
c. both.

if one or both arent met, most pass.

now saying that, there are groups and even on console called COMPLETIONISTS
gettin 100% in every game etc, trophies etc
again i blame console kids

yes the patch has about 2 pages of stuff it messed up, and only half a page of stuff it fixed

I am d/l the game now, reading all the comments from the last few patches/updates, using the 1.02 -> 1.07 patch file that comes with the purchase, I am considering manually installing the patches.. 1.07 seems like alot of freezing (some every 10 sec). I would probably either 1) disable auto-update in configure and try it out, it has hte option of rolling back any patch (but would enabling 1.07 install cache files that may not get "rolled back" and im stuck with a non-working game). 2) disable auto-update and just install up to 1.06 or DLC #13. I would love some feedback from people NOT having any probs with 1.07 (i.e. game freezing or just not playable). Thanx for all feedback.
