I couldn't get into Darkness 2 when i tried to play it on my 360 a few years ago. The story or pace or something felt off after playing the first game, like it wasn't well thought through and they just wanted a sequel to a successful game to get a little more money.
low rated

I think that the developers used most of their energy to make it look better than the first one, and they succeeded, they made it look quite like the comic, but the game felt emptier. I mean, in the first one you had even little subquests and minigames,.

FrodoBaggins: So that still means it's steam-DRM, not DRM-free. ) ;

ZFR: So?
So steam is DRM, and I don't like DRM in my games.

Here is a solution for you then: don't use it.

A user has taken his time to tell GOG users here that a game is available for free for a limited time. He didn't claim it's DRM-free. He didn't praise Steam. He just let us know the game is free. Yet you felt compelled to come twice and inform everyobody that "Steam is DRM". Why?

Certainly it looked good... but still...

I recall the beginning of the second game. Things were going good, he was in a good spot, issues were tied up, yada yada... then... WE NEED CONVINCE HIM TO BRING THE DARKNESS BACK! And if felt like it was forced back into the forefront when it shouldn't.

Plus reading some of the comics, he HATED it, so bringing it back should be a last resort, not because they felt they needed an edge.

It just didn't feel right.

Why did I post twice? Because you questioned my first post, so I just clarified things.
Why did you feel compelled to ask me a question, then not like it when I answer?

Besides, posting a DRM game in a site that's all about DRM-free, is kinda significant.

Wasn't quoting anyone but making a suggestion/advice for the OP.

I know, but you also referred to my post and wrongly attributed the fr33kSh0w2012 quote to yourself. :)

Heh. I just noticed you were referring to text that is actually displayed there.

Anyway, bump; last hour in case anyone still wants to get it.

FrodoBaggins: "Before you can redeem your free copy of The Darkness II, you must link your Steam account to your Humble Bundle account."

It's steam-DRM, it's not DRM-free. ) :
was it promised DRM free anywhere, or did anyone mention that it was DRM free?
Really fun game. I really enjoyed the first one too. Too bad it was never ported to the PC :(. The performance on consoles (especially PS3) was awful.

Despite the fact it has been done hundreds of times already.
