Navagon: Hilary Clinton is dead in the water already

Tallima: Anyway, good chat, guys! I think we agree with most points, which is surprising to me.
Yes, and as Lewis Black said, "The choice is between two bowls of shit". He also said, "The party of no ideas (dems), and the party of bad ideas (reps)".

Two of my favorite quotes on the U.S. two party system.

Navagon: Missed it. The US 2004 election coverage by just about any actual news agency could have come from the Onion, so I'm not surprised they find their job really easy come election time.

2016 should be good. Neither party has a single viable candidate. Hilary Clinton is dead in the water already and the best the Republicans can do is Donald Trump. Unless it's still 1956* in America he doesn't stand a chance. But then if none of them stand a chance, maybe they all do?

*Yes, I know it is still 1956 in some parts of America, but most of it's moved on a bit though, right?

I think their prediction was pretty much spot on.

She's been exposed as a lying, manipulative and untrustworthy bitch who has contempt for just about everyone. What she did to keep old Billy boy in the White House should rightfully have destroyed any trace of credibility she had. Instead she got to come out of it smelling of roses because her loyalty is admired and strangely... unquestioned.

But now there's servergate, the story about her blatantly criminal activities the last time she was in the White House. Being a lying scheming bitch who's happy to destroy others to get her way is one thing. But thanks to servergate her next government appointed position should be in a jail cell. Although we all know it won't be.

If you want sources just Google servergate. There are plenty to choose from.

I don't think that the sphere is quite as round, orange and angry as Donald Trump. But it's not a bad prediction, just a little more tame than reality turned out to be.

Is there anything funnier than the hardon that the Republicans have for the Clintons?

The hardon they have for the Obamas?

Sorry, but telling me to just google something does not count as providing a source.

(Also, keep in mind that people change.)

John Boehner. Best Congressional linebacker a presidential running back ever had. Block the defensive line, create a hole, and let the running back charge into the end zone. Touchdown, bad guys!

With him gone, maybe the drooling idiots can turn the U.S. into Greece by defaulting on loans and shutdown government. Sell off your stocks before Dec/late Nov.

That's why we have the electoral college. To ensure that we haven't moved past the '50s until the whole country has. Just look at all those places where colored folks aren't supposed to vote.

I sure as hell won't be voting for her if I have any choice. She's popular with feminists and I'm not even sure whom else. Barring it ending as a match up between her and one of the particularly crazy GOP candidates, she hasn't got a snowball's chance. She's just marginally preferable to having another Bush in the Whitehouse.

Defaulting on loans and government shutdown would be the 'good' option. I don't think many people want to know what's behind door #2.

If you can't be bothered to inform yourself then I don't see why you'd expect me to spoon feed you. Or were you hoping I'd provide a source you consider disreputable? So you could cast the entire matter aside like it was nothing. Never mind the federal investigation or anything. No. If you don't like the source then it's clearly not something that is happening.

Is that it?

It's either that or you're extremely lazy. Which given the fact that you don't seem to know the first thing about severgate is entirely plausible. Either way I'm not interested.

The way I see it, you are the one who made a claim, and therefore you are the one who needs to back it up. It's you being lazy, not me. (If you notice, when I make certain claims in other threads, I provide links.)

I am certainly informed enough that I will vote for her in the general election over any Republican candidate, especially since she does have a good (recent) track record on LGBT rights. (Of course, Bernie Sanders is even better on that front, but he's not a Republican, and therefore they won't both make it past the primaries.)
