I find it pretty interesting that only 1/4 of the original suggested by HijacK are in the group. He seems a bit eager to please everyone and make it seem like he's doing the pro-R thing. Maybe it's just paranoia, I mean, he's been seeming super-Resistance up until a point, to me.

Now I'm getting a sick feeling that he took 2 or 1 spies out (JMich, Ix?) and put 2 or 1 spies in (himself, Lift?), and there's no way to know.

And yeah, this looming sense of not knowing until it's really over who is what, is a bit wearisome. Best to focus on other things and let it run its course, though.

Wait... you don't enjoy the pressure? The uncertainty? The brinkmanship? The impotence?

I joke. I have to admit it is somehow unbelievable how the time extension intensifies the nervous tension. Despite actually being in the middle of experiencing it.

I guess with Mafia the same effect occurs? I last played Mafia F2F 10 years ago or more, but it was much faster I recall? Resistance also rarely passes say 20 min if played tabletop.

JMich: You mean if the first mission was 1 spy and 2 resistance, the spy would fail the mission? Or do you say that the single spy would vote no for the team proposed?
I don't recall saying anything about a single spy rejecting the proposal, but a failed first mission would bench all three players. So a spy could take that hit, if it meant benching two resistances, since that would leave 4 resistance and 2 spies as possible candidates for the next missions.
Then again, I've no idea how to play this game ;)

Yes, I meant failing the mission. I can see this, but I can also see a single spy to not fail the mission on D1 to be included on future mission.

The old wind up clock slowly ticks the night hours away. Eventually a small speck appears on the horizon. It steadily grows bigger, wavering the heat. By mid-morning it resolves itself into four figures. They move slowly, horses laden with heavy packs.
Well that's a relief. Didn't get a wink of sleep last night, worryin' an all. We sorely needed the stuff. It's amazing none of them were injured, considering the machine guns they brought back. Wouldn't take the blink of an eye to cut a man in half with the amount of lead those muzzles spit out.

Mission 2
Team Captain: HijacK
Members: HijacK, cristigale, Lifthrasil, Dessimu
Result: 4 successes
Mission SUCCESS

He said it was humans holding those guns. Human's with wire and metal coming out of their skull instead of hair. I guess it's lucky those mind control rigs aren't fast yet. I wonder what it feels like to have something else in your mind? Or do those poor devils even feel anymore. I heard the captain say they didn't look alive. Said he shot them in the head twice, just to make sure, on account of their expression not changing when he shot them the first time. Maybe they stole the souls from them. God knows what sort of horrors they could make if a machine could get at your soul. Must be why old 'man-in-the-telly' want us to find out more. Even with all that modulation you could hear the fear in his voice.

Yes. I don't see a convincing reason for a spy to vote for success on this past mission. Spies need the final three missions to win. I also agree with your spy list, I would remove JMich and go with agent, brasas, and Ix. I am curious to see the arguments against this. Perhaps some reverse psychology.

I am traveling tomorrow, so let's get this out there:

Mission 3, Team Proposal 1
Team Captain: cristigale
Members: HijacK, cristigale, Lifthrasil, Dessimu

If this works, we had good reads. If it doesn't work, spies have a curious gambit in play.
