A quick read of yogsPVG leaves me with a neutral to scum read.

CSPVG's post #360 states not trying to lurk this time around. Why specify this time I'm really trying??

He also makes a reply stating: I think that the likelihood of hitting a PR today is quite slim but, in limiting our pool of targets, by offing someone today we're also limiting the pool of picks for scum tonight. Now, this would not be a problem in a normal game but because we only have three strikes this game, it's obviously more of a problem.

It makes sense we'll unlikely hit a power role through lynching. But narrowing the pool of targets for scum to pick from doesn't make sense. And sounds like a very townish thing to postulate.

The thing I'll focus on is the voting. Three votes cast out of 29 posts. Post #865 states how your vote will stay on RWarehall/a4plz. You then go on and change it twice.

Not vote worthy yet, but not obvitown either.

So blind that I'm forgetting the wagons of HijacK and me had 3 overlaps, and that it makes sense for at elast 1 of them to be scum, if not 2, and that would make it trent or adalia, or both?

adaliabooks: Don't worry about it, I just obsess too much over what to do and who might be scum... it drives me crazy and really drains any fun I might otherwise have.
That is what I find fun in the game, figuring out how it might be and who it might be with how it might be. If you don't find that aspect fun, I can't imagine any of the rest of it over-riding that enough to be fun. It truly sucks you're not having fun and I absolutely appreciate that you stepped in like a good sport to replace dess. Having said that. I still think you're scum. (: woe is you! NO PITY!

I'm geeking out over here. Is there anything I can do to help? At the office during the day, so If i can provide anything prior to about 8:30am EST tomorrow morning, I'm happy to do so.

I don't know what kind of high I'm on .... maybe one of those "there's no chance that we townies can pull this out...... but maybe, just maybe AgentCar made it a bastard game in favor of the town with the spectre mechanic" giddy highs.

Torn. I think adaliabook or yogs is scum. don't think they both are. but hoping for some spectre luminosity.

There is one more thing I should do. I don't think it's a huge deal anymore, but it would be silly not to confirm for any town who may have a doubt. I'm not sure when it will come but you'll know it when you see it. This is the part I debated the most, to just do what you'll see soon ( I assume before the end of the day) and not claim or do both. I was afraid if I didn't claim, town would have a false sense of security as it would appear the coroner was still alive and may get more results. If we weren't two roles down, I think I would have kept my claim to myself. For better or worse, I thought it better that town have the information.

Having said that, you shouldn't need to wait for anything.

@Bookwyrm - how sure are you about adalia? I keep waffling on this one.

@JMich - besides Hyper, who do you find scummy?

Funny, I seem to recall you complaining heavily about dying on Day 1. If I'd known you actually wanted to be killed, I would have obliged you. :P

No flips is rough. I'm perhaps surest about him, though I think Babark would be a decent second choice. Yogsloth is the one I'm less sure about, which is part why I'd be willing to save him for last.

I'm thinka two-fold thing might be possible:

1.) CSPVG had basic questions just like anyone else might and yogsloth got forwarded those, and,
2.) the "no quoting PM" rules doesn't really give him much to give us. I suppose he could say the basic "CSPVG had questions and agent answered them", but I think that would just get more questions from us and put him in an awkward position for not answering thoroughly enough and cause more issues than it is worth, and he is wanting to avoid that mess, which I find understandable.

I got home from work and caught up. I'm working 12's all week, so expect a post in the morning then another like now late at night. At deadline, I can possibly make a post from work on a break but don't expect much commentary...typing on a phone sucks...

Very interesting...
Glad I asked that question, wasn't sure we'd get an answer from the mods, was actually expecting someone in the game could respond. Just thought with enough new players in the game, it might help put things in perspective. Two hours probably isn't time enough to say much unless they happened to be online together, but is enough time to throw out some basic advice if there was a newbie in the group and give some idea how.

As to the spectres. I sorta wondered when this would come up as I noticed the mention of special powers, specifically Bookwyrm mentioned he'd say something about it before the end of yesterday. Was hoping you guys could do something useful since now staring at one power role left and knowing we'd have to lynch all the scum before they hit our power role is a little demoralizing...

All I'll say is you know what you have, use your own judgment. We don't necessarily have to know anything about it until the game ends. If it doesn't help us more than letting scum know about it, we don't need to know...

And frankly, I'm having a hard time figuring this game out. I've been hoping for some Eureka moment, where I read things just the right way and say, "That's it, that's the scum team" but I don't think it's there. Most games I've usually got at least someone I think I can trust as town (if not more than one). This game...I'm not sure of anybody (living anyway).

Adalia, Babark, Yogs I can kinda see, of course I have two of them on my short list.
I think Dessimu vote hopped too much and seemed to try too hard to play town. Adalia had a very unfortunate suggestion which looks like role-fishing.
Babark just hasn't said enough for me and seems in fear of making a slip. I know my vote is on Adalia, but as the day progressed, he's probably moved to the top spot in my mind.
Yogs, doesn't seem to be playing like himself. So it's conceivable. But Adalia did throw him majorly under the bus. I'll just say I'm leaning against them being teammates. But hey, its possible. Of course Yogs wanting to be saved for last, worries me a bit, but it does say scum have no powers, right?

I guess what I'm saying is I really like Babark for scum. I really like the odds either Adalia or Yogs is a 2nd scum, but I don't think the set of 3 is the team. One of them is wrong.

You are telling me. Heck, you haven't mentioned Trent changing his meta. JMich still being alive. Of course Flub is always a suspect. Although I recall there was something he said in day 2 that came off as town to me, but he's still Flub. And then there is Drealmer, enough said. HSL, I seem to go a bit back and forth on.

I've never played a game like this one where I can really see every other player alive in the game as scum. And there are 9 of you!

One of the few things I'm fairly sure about though...well, sure enough I find it unlikely, I don't think you and Adalia are on the same scum team. At least that's something I guess.
