HijacK: I didn't say that, did I?
Actually, I read your posts as "let everyone else but me talk", so asked you how you think we'd make any progress if everyone followed your lead and kept any impressions they have to themselves.
avatar
a4plz: Uh.. I've already been posting observations about the setup? ._.
Indeed, which is why you weren't on the list next to Hijack, Chicken, and Babark. You have made some dangerous suggestions, which is why I suggested you might want to try again.

avatar
babark: Not sure how I can prove I'm not scum, however. I give you my word? :D
When I wrote that, I was thinking along the lines of "we lynch you and see your flip". However, I remembered right after I posted that "oh yeah, might be no flips this game", which would remove the certainty for most players. I got distracted before the 10 minute timer elapsed, and then I forgot to come back and correct that line.

Bookwyrm627: ... Flub just gave some analysis about Drealmer,...
avatar
drealmer7: you call that analysis? that was some of the weakest...I don't know what it was, but whatever it was, it was thin and weak, almost a joke to me...
Compare the quality of Flub's analysis to the quality of Hijack's analysis (as of that point, anyway, I'm catching up and don't know if Hijack has posted again). I didn't comment on the quality of Flub's analysis, just that he had provided some analysis.

HijacK: I got ...an argumentative paper
At least that one should be easy! ;)

avatar
HijacK: @Booky
Not many game worthy impressions. I dislike RVS so I didn't even pay attention during that stage. Had other matters to focus on.
Which is why I also left open the option of commenting on the setup, or commenting on other player's opinions on the setup. You know, anything that will put an opinion on the table.

avatar
HypersomniacLive: On a side note, I wonder if flubbucket's avatar will kick in before the game's over.
I'm waiting to see if my avatar change kicks in before my bucket is kicked in.
avatar
HypersomniacLive: Actually, I read your posts as "let everyone else but me talk", so asked you how you think we'd make any progress if everyone followed your lead and kept any impressions they have to themselves.
Last I checked few, if any, people follow my lead, so I was never worried about this happening.

Bookwyrm627: At least that one should be easy! ;)
So far I gotta find a correlation between Dante Alighieri's Divine Comedy and some other chick's garbage book which is basically the first form of fan fiction in recorded history and in which it insults the legacy of the Dacians, Thracians, and Getae with her bullshit Amazonian savages. Final paper, so I gotta be somewhat liberal in writing since this is one of the most liberal Honors programs in the country. Ugh, I hate extremes.

My opinion is that someone should tell drealmer to stop antagonizing half of the player base. It might help his arguments.

I can't help it if most of you make fallacies with such frequency and that it hurts the long game, try this. "he hurt my feelings so I'm not going to agree with his viewpoint! wahhhh" - *shrug* - I would have hoped most of you would have realized now it is a scum-hunting tactic. I push I prod I provoke I antagonize a little (not as much as some, I feel), and judge reactions. I think it does me fine, it just doesn't make me friends, which makes me sad, but, again, I'm hoping you all just learn it is scum-hunting tactics and don't take it personally and can forgo making fallacies like stated above!
Everything that happens in scumtown, stays in scumtown.

Bruh, pls. You're speaking to the Pro. Hmu when people stop playing 'cause of you.
Traveling these days back and forth, so I read more than I can write.

Overall, I sense lots anger this time. T'is like Titans clashing in this game. New players are put under a microscope and little slack is given to them. That is perfectly fine.

A4plz, babark, lotsofchickenwings, live through this game, it's like an innitiation to you. But whoever of you is townie, do the best you can to help Town. Express more of your ideas, even if they seem a bit awkward. In this game everything is awkward.

...

Unlike in previous games, this time I see lots of finger pointing with request "YOU do the math and readoning and tell us, who is scum!" We don't really seem to try to draw and share our insights this time. Given that scum's winning condition is a somewhat unusual and that we have three new players whom we don't know at all, all the secretness seems normal. Just that it should not provoke anger bursts and unnecessary provokations.

...

In somewhat more traditional way, it's hard to call anyone scummy as of yet. "Suspicious" is the word to be used on some players more than the others. For now, these are the ones I find suspicious most:
- drealmer7 - this game he is acting weird and offensive. Almost like "I have nothing to lose, I am sick of something and you will feel my wrath. But it's all scum hunting, chill." In some games I could already get the feeling if drealmer7 is townie. This game I just don't get this feeling.
- New players - all three of 'em. They are new, they seem to know what they are talking and for all I know, each of them could be a really smart scum, using their one-time novice pass. And idea that all three of them could form the scum team somehow amuses me.

Less suspicious, just having some moments:
- HypersomniacLive - this game seems angrier than I would expect. But it could just as well be him being cautious around new people. What I did not like, was the chant "I is kind. I is Good".
- trentonlf - I didn't like how he told HypersomniacLive that his chant is giving off Hot Fuzz (I am typing on phone, can't check exact post, but I did not like that post a bit). It reminds me the time when trentonlf, HypersomniacLive and cristigale were Mafia; I asked trentonlf of something and cristigale answered for trentonlf, sort of warning him and preventing any unnecessary slips. So I could interpret this Hot Fuzz as a warning to stop chanting.
- flubbucket's play reminds me the time when he was Mafia. That's just the first impression I get reading any of his posts.

...

To sum up my personal feelings of suspicious people, I would gladly lynch drealmer7 just for safety. Otherwise I am going to be think him being scum more and more.

My second option would be to lynch one of the new players. I have to ponder a little as to who looks most suspicious, but for the moment, I the back of my mind, I am giving lotsofchickenwings a bit of slack and would want to lynch a4plz, because if (s)he is scum, (s)he is dangerous.

Unvote babark

I will think this all over and cast my vote later. It's most likely going to be on drealmer7.

Really? That's odd. I feel like I'm usually much more bizarre and offensive and that that usually puts people off and gets me lynched, sooo, I have it toned down (that and I don't have much to type about/go on with my scum-hunting this game so far, just how it goes sometimes, I suppose if someone pinged me harder or there was more to talk about with the setup, I'd be being how you typically see me, but, can't expect that every game!) and am much less so this game from the get-go.

I think maybe I just hit 3 in my list of 6 and you are one of them and scared.

You have already decided how you're going to think of me as the game progresses? You're sure I'm going to more and more scummy? That sounds to me like you've decided to read that into whatever I say and that safe feeling is you being scum getting rid of your biggest threat (really, though, whether you're scum or town, I'm no threat, no one ever listens to me!)

Seriously though, whoever is scum, I really don't want to be the D1 lynch AGAIN, I know I'm not an enticing night target, but can you please pick on someone else D1? thanks
Quick check in. Lots of weekend activities, thought I'd get in before this. Need to catch up but will have to wait until after lunch (approx 10-12 hours.).

Hope everyone is having a good weekend.

You think too much of yourself. This might be the main thing I dislike this game from you.

I do know you are more or less fed up with yourself being lynched D1, but understand that your actions provoke us into thinking you are scum. And scum must die. So don't ask me to pardon you based on "I am fed up".

You make good points here. We play a more casual game here, hence the reason new players get some slack Day One. Your observation of the new players seems spot on.

I think the difference between babark, lotsofchickenwings, and a4plz is enthusiasm. Why one seems more engaged than the other two could also be personality.

Warning!!!

Since it appears to be a merged post, instead of something more insidious, and because it was pointed out right away, there will be no punishment this time. Be more careful next time.

I can confirm the original post (response to HijacK) is unedited as I saw it earlier before the merge.
What a dumbass!!!
