Well, I still think we should commit to Bookwyrm's decision, whatever he wants. For all the detractors, when I posted that, I wasn't sure Babark would be his choice. I saw a little back and forth between him and Babark. And if me proposing it turns him off, let him act accordingly.

I'm proposing it for the same reason I came out so strong at the start of the day...
We need to communicate, discuss together. Instead we have 1/3 on one side; 1/3 on another side and another 1/3 who are staying out of it. Which was pretty obviously going to be the case given yesterday. Unfortunately, my attempt to start a discussion seemed not to do very much good so I stopped.

I believe committing to our 100% town arbiter is the best way to guarantee a lynch; the best way to prevent any scum quick lynches; and the best way to lessen all this in-fighting. Everyone would have to state their reasons and who they think should be voted for. And you'll only have a confirmed town to complain to if he didn't want to listen.

What also worried me about the game start quick wagons. I didn't like the way people were trying to get the undecideds to commit so quickly. Here's why...was thinking about this at work...if Adalia told scum about the spectre powers and could lower a vote below majority, what was stopping him from telling scum who was at risk? Why do I get the feeling that some people on at least one of those early wagons knew it would only take 5 votes to lynch? At least its possible, right?

And besides, any plan that is immediately rejected by both Yogs and Drealmer must have a bit of merit, right?

Pros: Guaranteed lynch. Guaranteed town-approved target (at least one town)
Cons: No proper lynch wagon, but if people aren't saying anything, their opinion will not be heard.

Is this really that bad a plan? Especially for tomorrow where Bookwyrm hasn't stated a thing?

Some other things trip my scum-dar with Adalia too. You tried to defend Babark, who also seemed to have some data he shouldn't have. Would you have flipped out on a sudden, contested lynch of a scum buddy (Adalia)? Yes, you would. You apparently knew Hijack was the herbalist.

You want to lynch a player that you say is likely town, when we're nearly finished, instead of Babark.

Even if I am feeling like he is town, that doesn't make him "likely town", and with his lurking, pushing on me earlier and then backing off and then doing it again and backing off (really the only moves he's made the whole game), and mostly non-contribution play pretty much through the game, he is at least playing anti-town enough I am comfortable voting him at this point, especially since he helped the lynch on babark go through. I want to lynch trent, still, or HSL, or even flub at this point is now probably my 3rd, but a distant 3rd.

If we are not here tomorrow, then this was a valiant attempt. But means scum had us no matter what we did. But with a little luck tonight, we might be getting a chance to win this.
