I'll just say this Yogs...you sure seem to have a one-track mind....

Like I said, no comment about your supporter HSL being wrong about the contents of the mod post? That over a week of posts have been clouding everyone's judgement about JMich. On this issue, I have to be with JMich. A player has been completely wrong and attacking him over it for a week. Should I find JMich scummy? Or should I find the person going after him so hard?

If you want JMich, show me something actually problematic. But right now, I don't see anything. I guess we are just supposed to trust you, huh? JMich isn't outside my consideration. Neither is Drealmer. But I don't see the smoking gun. About the closest thing to confirmed town is ChickenWings. Barring some major slip, he's off my table. But that doesn't mean anyone is going to convince me to lynch someone without a good reason.

I have a question for everyone else...what do you think of HSL now that his crusade has finally been put to rest? The mods did not say scum knew about NKing spectres; in fact the mods essentially say they found out from the same post. Let's be sure.

Mods: Can you clarify your statement about the start of Day 2 and Spectres? Did you send a separate post to them, or did you mean they found out spectres from the same opening day post everyone else did?

@drealmer7

You're the one advocating to look at what makes sense. I fail to see why such a mechanic favouring Mafia (even more) makes sense to you. Just think about it. All they need is to kill our one remaining Power-Role. Why would they need such an advantage regarding Lynches? And at D4, when they'd quite likely be ahead in the game anyway? Are you advocating that the mod blatantly made sure Mafia can't lose, no matter what? In that case, what's the point for Town still playing?

Let's assume it's a Spectre caused mechanic. What makes it more likely to be the doing of an Evil Spectre than that of a Town one?

Let's assume that yogsloth's Scum and has such an ability. The NK is the last night-action to go through. Wouldn't that mean he found out he's a Spectre now after all possible night-actions were sent, and that phase of the Night was over? When did he use this ability of his? At Day-break? Later in the Day, before the mod announced it? So far, we had no day-actions, nor any indication that any are in the game. Wouldn't yogsloth being able to do it be an exception? Why would the mod make an exception for him, for a Mafia Spectre? Wouldn't that again favour Mafia (more)?

RWarehall: [...]

It sure as heck looks like Yogs is trying to pull one over on us. If it's Christi's choice, then I'm pretty sure JMich is a target and it will prove nothing about his alignment. But I'm sure Yogs will spin it as it does.

[...]
If yogosloth's trying to pull one ovrer us, that would mean you consider him to be Scum, Along with adalaibooks, that would make two Scum down for you, so only one left. If we lynch right Today, who's going to perform that N4 NK you were so worried about in your post #1312 that you urged us to hope they fail at?
Rest assured, I don't actually expect you to address this, that's not how you operate.

I'm arguing a different point about JMich that you vehemently refuse to address. Not that I actually expected you to, not even the very first time I brought it to your attention to test you. What followed, deflect, evade, refuse, and push your scum-agenda, is exactly what I expected.

As for your reactions not being consistent with being scum-buddies with him, or anyone else under suspicion - that's a healthy dose of WIFOM. *claps slowly*

I'm just going to wait to see what Bookwyrm627 has to contribute.

He and babark are both greenlit!

They're here! They're here!

Oh good golly moses... they might actually post something!!!
Post something about what? The situation seems exactly the same as it was when I last spoke- i.e. me expressing doubt as to whether such a thing could be pulled off, whether it is a scum-only non-majority required and wondering what is so certain about JMich and RW?
And I mean doubt in terms of getting the requisite number of votes. Which is why I suggested using trentonlf for this instead, seeing as he already has 3 votes. Two more won't sink him if it is a scum-only non-majority required.

Or I suppose you could do JMich instead too.

babark: Or I suppose you could do JMich instead too.
Fine! Good! Do that! Do something! Do anything!
I already AM doing something. I voted trentonlf. If you are sure that he's not scum, and you're sure that he wouldn't be the one that doesn't require majority, it shouldn't be an issue to get 2 more people to vote for him.

Or If you (or someone else, I have no desire to advocate against JMich just yet) wish to get someone to vote for JMich, try, I guess? If you get one more, I can be the vote/unvote person after that.
I mean babark, I figure I only have you for a few minutes until you roll right back out of the game again for another day, patting yourself on the back for a day's work well done...

So look, trent is not getting lynched today under normal circumstances. HSL and I won't vote for him. It would take you, drealmer, RW, flub, JMich AND locw.

Do you think that's going to happen?

Do you really think you can pull literally every player in the game onto that wagon, given the three who won't vote?

To keep your vote parked on trent and just bail out means you think you can do that, despite not putting any effort into it.

It's time to play the game, man.

If you don't think you can roll that wagon, it's time for you to consider doing something else.

I wouldn't even be totally adverse to starting the experiment with trent if I though there was enough time, but frankly, how many out of you, locw, JMich, and flub will even be around to make the first effort?
Few minutes? I've been on quite regularly today. And yesterday, actually, considering I had a thesis proposal to prepare...

Why do I need to put every player? All I need, according to your theory, is 2 more, and those 2 more don't even need to be permanent, just long enough to see if trentonlf doesn't require a majority.

I'm not "keeping my vote parked on trent" in an attempt to bail out or because it requires less effort or because I don't want to play, I'm doing it because I think he's scum. Are you saying I shouldn't think he's scum? Why? And why would JMich or RWare be scum? I still haven't quite understood how it is a foregone conclusion that THEY are scum, and THEY are the only ones worthy to vote for. I mean, I have no bias towards or against them, if there was something that pointed to them being scum, or once trentonlf had been lynched and I had to find the next scum, I would have no issue voting for them if it made sense.

So what new thing are you suggesting I do? It is all very well to be all talk and have that talk be "we should do something!" without doing anything (sure, even if it is with the excuse of "but then my vote will be permanent"). If you are so certain about a specific player being scum, then take a leap and vote.
I'll actually make everyone a deal.

RWarehall, will you switch your vote to trentonlf?

Then HSL can be the fifth vote / unvoter in the same post.

Will that work for everyone as a start?
Finally caught up to my post. And I see I still have 2+ pages to go, added since I started.

Still chugging slowly along here.
Works for me :D. If it doesn't do anything (although again, I'm not sure I prescribe to the idea that only scum don't require a majority), I'll switch over to vote (at least temporarily) for JMich.

You and me got some talkin' to do, and I'm about to go afk for 1-2 hours.

Hope you're around this afternoon. :)
@babark - would you vote me if I volunteer?
