agentcarr16: Well, awesome co-moderator you turn out to be... Can't even get a simple votecount straight. :P
Don't take it personally, I only get them right about half the time in my own games too. ;)

drealmer7: catching up, this is where I'm at:

avatar
adaliabooks: Is anyone on my wagon actually willing to vote anyone else?
avatar
drealmer7: I'm willing to vote trent, HSL

you come between trent and HSL, and I'm quite comfortable with it and think we should kill trent tomorrow
Oi. Be quiet. You're asleep.
And now, a proper Nightfall post…

The evening comes, bringing with it a catered dinner to keep spirits up. Unfortunately, people are getting disheartened by the lack of information and consensus.

Yet another vote is called for and the mayor wearily counts hands. Adaliabooks is the most common vote, but there’s still no majority.

Adaliabooks himself is starting to get antsy. “Look, I thought this would be simple. I’d come in, find the criminals, and then leave. Dessimu would come out of the hospital, and I’d go back to living in his basement. Is that so hard?!? I’m gonna kill myself if this goes on.”

No one listens, he’s been saying this for quite some time now.

Another round of discussions, then a box of Timbits is passed around, and another vote is called for.

The mayor shakes his head, but counts anyways.

Votecount

adaliabooks: 7 (drealmer7, RWarehall, lotsofchickenwings, flubbucket, JMich, babark, adaliabooks)
JMich: 3 (yogsloth, trentonlf, HypersomniacLive)

Not Voting: Bookwyrm627, cristigale

Adaliabooks is closest to Lynch

Adaliabooks has raised his hand… for himself.

“I’m done with this. I want to move on.”

There is silence, then lotsofchickenwings pipes up that he would rather kill someone else.

Adaliabooks glares at him, then turns and strides out of the town hall. He ascends the gallows, places the noose around his neck, and pulls the knot tight.

”Best of luck to you all. Oh, and no hard feelings.”

He pulls the lever, and the deed is done.]

Adaliabooks has been Lynched.

Still rather confused, the townsfolk scatter to their respective houses and beds. Sleep will be difficult tonight.

It is still Night. Please refrain from posting in this thread.

The deadline to send in your Night Actions is Friday, May 20 at 08:00 EST.

How are we supposed to refrain from posting if you're going to taunt us with Timbits? Torturous.

This looks like something that came out of a rabbit or a goat...
The night is quiet again, but there is a deep silence that wasn’t there before. Even the night noises are subdued. It is as if someone has turned down the volume on the world.

Few people sleep well.

The morning is cold. A light layer of frost lies over everything.

The town is quieter then usual during the early part of the day as people stay warm indoors. Finally, at about noon, the sun comes out and the world warms again. It is then, as people emerge from their houses, that the discovery is made.

Yogsloth has been scattered around the square. Blood stains the ground.

His head rests at the base of the gallows, his eyes staring up into the sun. The whites of his eyes have turned dull black.

Yogsloth is dead.

The police arrive quickly, but it’s a little too awkward to cordon off the entire town square, so they settle for gathering the bits of yogsloth, questioning everyone who lives adjacent to the square, and then leaving.

Sobered and sickened, the townsfolk gather in the Town hall again. The mayor looks mildly green as he rises to open the discussion.

”I… I’m sorry. I find that very… difficult, to deal with.”

He grimaces and chokes, then continues, “I’m really not sure what to suggest. The killings continue, so there must still be cultists among us. But who are they? I don’t know, I just don’t know anymore…”

He slumps back into his chair, and the talk slowly begins.

However, some familiar figures are missing. Bookwyrm still floats about the room, pondering and conversing. But cristigale is nowhere to be seen and adaliabooks does not appear. A rather disgruntled yogsloth does appear, however, and shouts at Krypsyn to bring him a chair, which he promptly sinks into and through, to where he lies on the floor, staring up at the ceiling.

Cristigale is gone.

Adaliabooks is gone.

Yogsloth is now a Spectre.

It is now Day 4.

The deadline is Thursday, May 26 at 20:00 EST.
EAT A DICK, SCUM

Bwha ha ha ha aHAH AHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!
So...I guess there's going to be no indication of whether Adalia was scum or not. Also, how come 2 spectre exorcisms today (Cristi and Adalia)?
I'll hold off the decision on whether to vote trentonlf or drealmer7 for a bit.
I mean, we're still gonna lose, but yeah, I'll take my academy award now, thanks.

First rule of Ghost Club, is "Don't talk about Ghost Club".

Actually, the first rule is "always watch the living in the shower", and the second rule is the one about not talking.

But you get the point.

Why those two, Babark?
Vote JMich
mhmmmm

well, with no flips, no new info to be gained (as far as I can see), and no L-1 claims anymore in this game (right?), I think we should all just STFU vote. (give me the love!)

of course, that's just me, I've had mymind made up for DAYS, so it's easy

vote trentonlf

PS:

I think we've got a hail mary going on, let's see if it gets caught in the endzone

(ohya there was something else I wanted to say) PSS:

Bookwyrm627: Correction: I'll take Drealmer, Adalia, or JMich. All three have revealed, in one fashion or another, that they aren't the exorcist. Pick one and kill them.
You're missing something that makes this not necessarily true. Although, I think it does Good no good to talk about any of it further, as it'd just be doing Evil's thinking/job for them (like you making that list was, though, I suppose you could have known that and...hmmm...yeah, best to just let that go...)

that's a lot of talking for shutting the fuck up and voting, but, hey, still pretty good for me!
GOD DAMNIT, I fucked that one up!!!

EBWOP

that was supposed to be a 'HAIL MARY'...sofb!
How about rather than just throwing votes out there, we try to actually figure this out. I see way too many people throwing up their hands and declaring "no flips" we know nothing. How do we know with a fair bit of certainty Bookwyrm is town? Or Christie? There are Mafia groups out there where they don't flip.

Let's talk about Adalia. I know the votes were split a bit. Is there anyone who voted for Adalia who now thinks he was town? Why? Those who didn't want to vote Adalia, do you still think he was town? Why? Let's start with the counter-arguments first as since he was lynched, I'm guessing more people think he was scum.

Obviously, it would be nice if Adalia were scum, as that means probably only 1 or 2 scum left. It also likely means Yogsloth is town since if we only had two scum, they can't sacrifice a second. If there were 3 to start, I find it doubtful they would put themselves in a position to lose by a lynch today. So if Adalia were scum, we can be rather confident Yogs is town.

Let me leave it there. Yesterday, I made what I think is a compelling case against Adalia because his posts felt very wrong. Today, we need to enter the day with an open mind. Take in what we know and what more we learned and figure this out together. To figure this out, we need everyone's insights. I'm sure I'm not going to catch everything. We all miss things. Not to mention there are likely from 1 to 3 scum left who may try to mislead us. If we want to win this, we need to do it together. (Well, except you scum)
