It doesn't even matter.

Are there any scum dead? I would say there are at least two in the game, right?

No scum are dead, and I think there are at least two scum.
To say I have not covered myself in glory, subbing into this game, would be generous.

At this point, I don't think adalia is scum, but I'm not thrilled with any candidate. Really fighting hard just to keep up the ganas to try to even nail one.

Wyrm, cristi - who are your top two picks?
Right, so wyrm just answered that.

But can't vote because his voter needs a little viagra.

Hey, can everyone vote now? Please? Seriously?
I will actually hammer myself if no other wagon can get to L - 1, as if we no lynch the exorcist will have to remove cristi or Wyrm and that would be bad.

But I would much prefer to lynch someone else, I just don't see the support being there for it...

Good news! Every living player except HSL has voted.
I'm trying to be polite.

JMich: You do know that I like to post half baked ideas, that I later reject as I view more angles, right? Like the plan I pondered at the beginning of D2?
Depending on what needs to be revealed when I post the hypothesis, I may delay posting it until I've seen a few more things. If all the information is already public, I do not delay in thinking it.

[...]
Actually, that's not how I remember town-JMich. And you had pondered that plan, but did not share it until Bookwyrm627 asked you to.

avatar
JMich: [...]

First instinct was to trust the spectres as being town. Second instinct was to assume someone was playing us for a fool. So the straight answer to your question is yes. I found it more likely that she told the truth and that she lied.

[...]
How convenient..

avatar
JMich: [...]
1) I will refrain from answering you any more until you place a vote. For three game days now, you've been questioning people, painting them as scummy, yet still refuse to vote for them. That does start to look like scum mudslinging everyone they can.
[...]
[emphasis added]

Everyone? I expected better from you.

avatar
JMich: [...]
2) Vote adaliabooks. Even if it's highly unlikely he's the last scum, he still is the scummiest looking one for me.
[emphasis added]

And after everything that was said, you still don't let go.

avatar
RWarehall: [...] But after all this discussion of [...] how stupid it would be to soft claim your own power role, [...]
... here comes JMich in post #885 doing exactly that. But no-one but me blinked an eye. Because apparently that's not a soft-claim, just the explanation someone who simply assumed Spectres can't be NK-ed would provide.

Of course that doesn't mean that adaliabooks acted any better, I just find it peculiar that one gets exonerated and the other stoned for exactly the same thing.
I hope for the sake of Town that everyone that clears JMich is right.

I’m still going back and forth with adaliabooks, and I’d much rather take JMich. But I don’t want the Day to end in No-Lynch, and the Exorcist having to choose between Bookwyrm627 and cristigale.

Vote adaliabooks
I'm exhausted. I don't care to explain myself much more than this:

Hasty postings made in utter frustration didn't allow me to articulate myself very welll. I think you all should know what I was trying to say about vanillas sacrificing themselves, and anyone who wants to take issue with it is just searching desperately for scum, and I can't blame them for that and finding my post off, but I'm not Evil simply because I poorly articulated myself in a moment of utter frustration.

wyrm, I don't see the harm, why don't you explicitly tell us why you can't vote?

OMG THE TEDIUM *calms self*, just another 7.5 hrs until the day is done, the day is done, the day is done...

I'm still holding out for babark to check in and see the light and cast a helpful vote.

RW I fear you might be tonight's NK, and if so, thank goodness for the spectre mechanic come tomorrow!
So:

adaliabooks: 6 (drealmer7, RWarehall, lotsofchickenwings, flubbucket, JMich, HSL)
JMich: 2 (yogsloth, trentonlf)
babark: 1 (adaliabooks)
trentonlf: 1 (babark)

Not Voting: Bookwyrm627, cristigale

Twelve players, seven to lynch, but one or both of the specters count in the total required for majority, but can't vote, huh?

Just shaking my head here.

yogsloth: ...
*pulls a yogsloth*

GET ON THE WAGON!!! HAMMER KILL HAMMER KILL KILL KILL! NOW NOW NOW! DOITDOITDOIT!!!
Let me think about it.
and you're banking your chances of living tomorrow on the fact that there are no flips to confirm adalia as Evil and so you can wiggle it to make it seem like some others are Evil and you were right to not be on that wagon...got it...

I give a 1% chance that you think adalia made a mistake as the PR who soft-claimed stupidly and are hoping the game doesn't end on his lynch/don't want to be responsible for that possibility. The thing is, if he made that mistake and does live today (ohfuck I hope not), the game is over tonight anyway.

I just looked in my brain, and I'm pretty sure that wasn't in it.

I find you fascinating. Tell me more.
avatar
Bookwyrm627: Well, isn't THAT an interesting line?

"Vanillas, suicide into the lynch so scum don't get hit!"
Yeah, it might be something of an overstatement.

Alternative scum team: Drealmer, JMich, aaaaand...HSL?
avatar
adaliabooks: Yeah, I thought it was interesting coming from the person who was so resolutely not willing to be lynched day 1.

I also enjoyed the way his lack of being lynched day 1 made him obvi town, where as my stalling lynch clearly makes me scum.
Excellent logic there.

Can't say I buy JMich and HSL as being buddies though, one or the other certainly, but they've been bickering a little too much for me to see them as a team.
But is voting for yourself at L-1 if you are town pro-town? I still don't get it. I know you are sick of arguing. I know you want to prove a point and I know that you remember why you don't like this game. But yet - you do keep finding ways to engage - which makes me thing you are swinging for the fences as scum.

And apologies for grabbing a later quote. But I believe you know which post in referring to.

I agree Drealmer's comment is very interesting in light of his D1 stance. I think I see what he's trying to say - but it reads weird to me. He also knows it and edited by post the fact that it might be an overstatement.
