HypersomniacLive: Are you at all familiar with forum mafia, and how roles work? If the answer is no, I suggest you go and read up this before saying anything else, any answer to this post included.
I'm trying to give you the benefit of the doubt, but I've been in a game where a new player made all sorts of innocent newbie questions and suggestions, and got a free pass from everyone; he turned out to be a skilful, manipulative member of the mafia team.
Oh come on, these games aren't as fun if you consume all the meta-theory before you're even initiated. I know the basic rules & roles at least.

I think CL could have actually been okay in the last game but only because so many people actually ended up getting vanilla (if more had had roles, I'd have thought it was a worse idea.) Too bad you got played the way you did, really. I wasn't surprised someone took it, I think it's okay to have done, people forcing other people to play certain ways most of the time is not good policy. Sure, I believe in lynch all liars, but even that is in general now, I suppose, because if I had been in dedo/dessimu's position in their town-lie situation, I probably would have done the exact same thing, and so, trying to force no CL because a, b, c (I agree, I am not sure I like it myself, but if it is part of a setup, it is part of a setup, and trying to push it one way or another is not cool, to me.)

in short: I don't think you're a horrible human person, JMich. I think you're swell, most of the time! so please don't kill me, because you're pinging all sorts of scum to me this game (and you did a bit last game too) *eyes on JMich*

What is this? Some scum union? First Bookwyrm asks me not to kill him, assuming I have such a power. Now you ask JMich not to kill you, while assuming that he has such a power... Are you and Bookwyrm related somehow? Like... Scum related?
