JMich: So we will be using half bricks in socks? Yay!
One of my favorite sayings is "a sock full of quarters", as in, "That massage felt like being beaten with a sock full of quarters."

We'll use one of those.

This got me feeling some type of feeling that my cold, dead heart can't really comprehend.
For the record, I think "420"-things is a silly trend/symbol/whatever, and was just using it as a poke-fun mechanism, since he actually named the Ix role that he made fun of existing.

D1s don't need to be stale and boring. And going slowly isn't bad or necessarily boring either. It just needs a little flavor and it can be savored for 1-2weeks easy, imo. Especially with 16+ players, I think 2 weeks is an okay amount of time for D1. You can really get a feel for certain things, but still there is no uncertainty, and then you pull a string and watch how it unravels from there. D1 can really be some great parts of the game.
I'm in! I didn't even read the observer thread last game, so I might as well play...

Observer thread please :-)
I'll sign up to reserve a place for Robbeasy (I'll play if he doesn't want it, or if there is room after he takes his spot).
I'll sign up to reserve a place for Krypsyn (I'll play even if he doesn't want it, or if there's a room for his pot to piss in.)

Well, let me just get this out of the way then: You are obvi-scum, Vote: cristigale. It'll happen regardless, so might as well get an early start on it.

I almost voted you last game, but then I realized I had you leaning scum so you had to be town. Anytime I have you leaning town you are scum so I figured it had to be the same in reverse LOL

I was doing some overtly scummy things in game 36, so I figured some folks might interpret that as obvi-town. I think you may fall into this category, in a round about way.

I mentioned changing my meta in post 204, for instance. This was a callback to the observer thread in game 35, wherein Vitek said that this was always a scum-tell. I was planning to actually link that post if I ever got to L-1, saying that it was so obvi-town (WIFOM, eat your heart out).

Also, I tried to be a little more open about my reads and thought process, while still being a bit vague overall. This culminated in my unintentional reads post in 304 (I really didn't realize I had covered every player but one until I counted them up at the end). The parenthetical at the end was also a callback to the Game 35 observer thread wherein Vitek said he liked my old style of play better (when I used to do reads mega-posts, with tons of quotes and such).

All in all, I was having a little fun with that game, and just mixing it up a little bit. I think many folks might have had me as scum early on, but most probably found me town by the end (like you did). Heck if I know though.
