drealmer7: I'm very glad to see you interested. People here are friendly, you'd probably be okay joining this game if you wanted to if you've read some of the tutorial/introductory stuff from the administration OP.
But it is also appreciated by some to gain a little experience before jumping right in. Read some previous games and join the observers thread at least.

Yeah, I think it was best for me to jump in, but it is not necessarily best for everyone. Still, I made dumb noob mistakes which certainly could have been prevented if I'd at least read 1 single game before starting playing, but I'm still glad I was part of that game (ahhhh QA, run it again will you?!)
tips:
1.) don't claim until told/forced to!
2.) don't get
too frustrated, the whole point is to have fun
