Well, I don't know whether or not to remonstrate with my dear wife for putting on her waders and attempting to fish at this stage in the day or whether I should take exception to Marvin's reaction to my wife for being confused by a reference to Clue.

Out of character: Not that I'm doing a marvelous job of maintaining it, really. I think I'll pack it in, though, as I'm now falling into the usual trap that I fall into in these situations, namely that I find it frustrating to read people in this state.

So, seriously, I don't know whether I think Lifth is honestly fishing with his last paragraph in post #82 or if he's just trying to maintain a character. Which is one reason I usually steer clear of role playing in these situations: it's far too easy just to say, "Oh, that was just my character, not actually me fishing/seriously suggesting offing X/etc." and moving on.

Besides that, I think that RWarehall sounds a little too riled up about Lifth's Clue comment. I will concede that he has reason to be upset, accruing three, seemingly random, votes in quick succession as he has.

It's still early days, though, so there's nothing much to go on.
