For what it's worth, I'd be willing to be a third assistant mod to help with keeping the shot queue down.
I certainly won't play, but I can resolve shots if you want me to.

Ability to make valid shots will occur promptly at 6pm UTC (so, certainly evening for you), however I'll probably put the thread up a bit before that and open it up to discussion/posturing. The hard end for "Day 1" will be Tuesday 6pm UTC, if, for some reason, nobody gets shot.

Hmmm. Since we will be pre-rolling for which shot contains the killing shot, I see no real harm in more moderators. Even if we simul-post, somehow, we would still be posting the same resolution. (in fact, it might be comical if it happens. :P)

Well, we had a minor hick up. My plan was to secretly let scum have their scumchat a little early without telling town. However, I wasn't clear enough, and one scum inadvertently let slip that a PM had been sent.

So, just letting everyone know that I am letting scum chat a bit before the game thread even opens. I will be sending out scum PMs shortly to a new scumchat (the old one has been deleted). If you don't get a PM in the next 30 minutes, then you are not Mafia; you will get an official town PM right before the thread officially opens (probably no earlier than 3pm UTC).
