zeogold: To be perfectly honest, I have no idea what I'm doing. Compared to games like Town of Salem, this one doesn't really make much sense to me because it seems nigh-impossible to tell who to kill, and besides, it's a random chance that they'll actually get shot anyways. You have just as much of a chance voting ME even after I tried to target myself.
Well it is pretty much a random game if we don't take a breath and talk. If multiple people agree that a particular person looks scummy, there is a better chance of shooting them.

How can you even tell?! They talk too much? They talk too little? You don't like their face, which you technically can't even see anyways? In the games I'm used to playing, there's at least one investigative role of some sort, but here, there isn't any.

The only chance of someone getting shot is if someone pulls the trigger while aiming at them.

I have stated my reasons for targeting Lift, such as they are. I initially shot at Drealmer out of a certain fear that a scum Drealmer might successfully chew right through the town with some luck; Zeogold just barely nipped in and stopped that, for better or for worse.

While I acknowledge that I have been decidedly trigger happy, this should come as absolutely zero surprise to anyone at all that was paying even the remotest attention to the sign up thread. Or the post game chatter from the last game thread. Or possibly even the admin thread. I also acknowledge that my enthusiasm is not a town tell; I just would like to point out that it is hardly a scum tell, either.

Honestly, I figure that we'd work with the real data that we're going to get: who actually shoots at whom. Something of a "money where your mouth is".

Some of it has to with meta-play. Being a new player, unless you've read past games, you don't have this at your disposal. That's why i'm leery of JMich's vote. He usually takes his time with voting and makes a better argument than what he did with Lift.

I would also expect scum to want to keep things hopping. Less time for reflection, to see a pattern in voting or a slip. That's what makes me suspicious of Bookwyrn and you to an extent.

Refreshed and saw Bookwyrm's last post. I agree that who shoots at whom and why is our best data. If there is non-stop fire, there'e not much chance to look at it.

cristigale: JMich's reason for voting does not ring true to me.
Again with the voting talk. Who exactly is voting in this game?

*Looks for the revolver, but he can't get his hands on it just yet*

What was your alternative course of action, before a few shots were attempted?

Remember, 3 out of our first 4 shots hit. 2 of those were by confirmed town (Drealmer).

Drealmer shoots HSL (kill).
Bookwyrm shoots Drealmer (click).
Drealmer shoots Bler (kill).
Zeogold shoots Drealmer (kill), just before Drealmer would have killed JMich.

JMich shoots Lift (click).
Bookwyrm shoots Lift (click).
Trent shoots a corpse (TILT).
Dedo shoots Bookwyrm (click).

Analyze away, Cristi. Things have calmed down a little bit.

I stand by my word choice. Unless you can prove you are town, then you are (or should be) a potential target for every townie. Scum have one less target than townies.

Bookwyrm627: Scum have one less target than townies.
What does that mean?

It means next chance we get, we shoot you.
Shoot zeogold

Actually it is. I misread it at first.

2 shot attempts remaining. JMich, Bookwyrn627, dedoporno, and trentonlf have each taken a shot.

Um, correct me if I'm wrong here, but didn't I shoot drealmer7?
If not, then shoot JMich.

You did. But, all counters are reset after someone dies.
