It's not backtracking when essentially I'm not doing much more than adding a comma into the original sentence for clarity. The whole "Let's eat, grandma!" vs. "Let's eat grandma!" thing.


I find this whole bit troubling in a number of ways, but the core issue is that you're saying you thought your shot would count (whether time-delayed or not).

If you'd sold it as knowing the shot wouldn't count, I might or might not have believed you, but it would have been a reasonable explanation in and of itself. Here you're saying you tried to queue up an early shot on HSL with no rationale beyond "delay helps scum!" somehow?

The gun is now loaded. Shot attempts will henceforth count.

I just know how bored krypsyn gets with the tedium of D1, and a good number of the rest of us too. Figured I'd make it excting. He's kind enough to host this mess of a special game (I think #33 and this #34 shouldn't be #ed and should be Forum Mafia Game Special Edition 1 and SE2), and, like I said, nothing to be gained from drawing out the shots on D1 except for scum to position and manuever and get us all suspicious of each other more and more. We have to face the facts, have the courage, and SHOOT AT EACH OTHER. Bler and HSL are my top candidates so far.

Anyway, contrary to the drealmer issue, this is at least the way to sell a gambit. Now zeog can say he's town because obvs. scum wouldn't target themselves.

Whether we should believe him is another question, since he could be scum who knew his shot wouldn't count, but the approach at least makes internal sense. If you believe him, he looks quite town, whether or not his move was helpful to town if it had counted.

Not in favor of rushing to shoot drealmer, but I do think he takes the early position of needing scrutiny.

Am going to give you a chance to at least try to explain yourself. You seem to be acting a bit odd this a.m. in the GA thread as well.

Not sure whether to write that off as life / lack of sleep, or if tension over being scum is getting to you.
