Lifthrasil: After the balancing disaster of my last game, the next game will in any case be open. So you can pitch in beforehand what you all think of the balancing. Maybe even role-less and all the flavour will just be flavour and nothing else.
Less fun... these things happen and you've done great closed setups before. Unless you just really want to do a power-free game?

I've never played a power-free game and I would like to try Mafia in it's purest form some time. Although, to be honest, I would prefer to try it as a player rather than as a mod.

If you'd like to play a power-free game I don't mind modding it. It would be flavourless though, the main reason I've not modded before is because I don't have a creative bone in my body (or at least not the right kind of creative bone). But since a powerless game is something I'm not so interested in playing I don't mind doing the admin side.

Oh, right. I forgot that that was power-less. I only remembered the scum-picking mechanic. Which gives Town quite some information to work with at the start. So it's not exactly pure social deduction. But you're right. I was in a power-free game.

That sounds perfect. It would feel like a waste to use a relatively lore-rich setting and not have any power roles!
