TheGOGfather: And Vítek was naughty boy and deserves this.

NotFrenchYet: Repent, repent!

I also have a very simple 2of4 setup ready to go that would work as a fast (!) newbie friendly game, but I want to play a bit first, so I'll post again when I want to be added on the list. ^_^

NotFrenchYet: Ah he gave himself away before that by spelling Vitek with the correct accent. ;)

Rodzaju: I don't think we've had a zombie apocalypse themed game yet.
Could be fun....
avatar
NotFrenchYet: That just BEGS for a cult leader role..!
Yes, that could be fun, maybe I would work with that <.< I sorta need a break from playing but I want to keep involved, lol.
Can you add me to the bottom of hosting list as would like to run a game when feeling better.

Well Bazilisek uses the correct accent when he talks about Vitek too, as does Vitek when talking about Baz so that in itself is not 100% incriminating since Baz could just be haunting us.

Argh, I think I need to take a break from mafia but I don't want to miss anyone's games!

EDIT: I just had a second of panic after I double posted!

Hi, folks, what's up?
I wasn't around for few days so I don't know what's new and wonder how are you doing? :-)

Well, that's nice to hear. Yet it's surprising to hear (read) you at all.
Can I get a buffer post real fast in 14?
Zombies would be fun, suggests a cult which might be interesting to see.

Though after the recent trend to make games bigger and more complicated would be nice to go back to something like game 1.

I'm interested how a cult only game would work, could be something worth checking out, and it would be fairly simplistic...hmmmmm

You know, cults have been tried to get fixed ever since they got introduced. They don't work, as by default are hopelessly unbalanced in favour of the cult itself.

Think to yourself - in a game without a mafia, you lack a relyable nightkill, so how would you stop the cult?

How does a cult work? Their night action is to recruit members into the cult and they win when they control the lynch?
Oh, please, no cults. I refuse to play in games with them. I read several games with them and I never seen balanced games and always there was a lot of complaints about it being lopsided.

Yeah, instead of kills hey usually recruit and often if you don't kill cult leader on day 1 or 2, you lose. And you can throw away analysis of previous behaviour because even the most towny acting player can turn into cult member and you would never suspect them.

Cults are indeed horrible roles.
Would it work if there were certain people who were predefined as being cult-recruitable? So the Leader could only recruit certain players?
