Well, I think I'm finally finalized on everything I can be for running my setup.
That is, until I get feedback and possibly tweak things to further improve upon it, or I make any alterations between now and when it runs, but, it's gone from 97-100% refined as far as I can do at this point in the past week and I am set with it as much as I can be for now!
It's pretty exciting, to have the entire stage set, many of the potential plotlines imagined in my head but still knowing anything could happen, and wanting very much to see what does. Yeeep yep!
For those that might not be aware (I know most are..., but we've had some new people and there are always possibly new people looking in!), this will be the first game I have created or moderated!! It's pretty exciting to me!
I'm quite happy with where I'm at in my play experience with where my hosting spot is coming to be, though I certainly could have gone for it in a few more games (and months) like I had anticipated, and one more assist-moderating chance, but I think the rush and pressure of knowing it was coming much faster than I initially anticipated allowed me to thrive with it a bit more than I might have otherwise (how I work sometimes, I get more seeds planted in that crucial week, than the 2+ optional weeks I could plant things before that, and it actually serves me better because of varying things.) And I'm not wary of the fact that I haven't assisted more at all by any means, I think I have a good grasp on things.
I will say that the signup flavor post isn't as well written or engaging as I'd like it to be, because it is mostly just setting up the facts and history of the establishment of the village where the events take place, but that I find (and my partner does too) that the opening flavor posts when the game actually starts is quite engaging and will flow quite well and get you all pumped for it, I hope. So if the signup flavor doesn't grab you, don't let that disuade you, everything else in the game is going to be much better!
dedoporno: It's less of a matter of who wants what but rather what can be done without investing too much time and effort into it and still useful enough to be done.
That makes sense, but what other things aside from vote count? I just can't really think of what things might be useful, whether more or less or just potentially or whatever.
