Oh, and I'll note that my issue with California is entirely that my paradigm tends to conflict with the prevailing mindset of most Californians. It isn't a bad place to visit, and I am sure many other people would find it quite nice to live there. ;)

I did get the poking fun at yogsloth part, but was curious why him living in California gave you and TheGOGfather amo for it.

He does. His place is a bit the way up the rim of the caldera; enough to get a good view. Look right and see the lake, look left and see a mountain full of ski lifts. A bit of a mixed bag... but at least skiing is convenient. ;)

The Ponderosa Ranch of Bonanza fame is just down the mountain from him.

So, I've been reading on the The Americans: Game yogsloth's playing. I'm quite impressed with their forum software that automates a number of things, and makes playing convenient, makes me appreciate Barefoot_Monkey's and adaliabooks' work even more. That Mod Bot, even gives each player's total number of posts at each vote count.

As for the game, lots of lingo & abbreviations to look up, makes it a tad hard to follow. But at least they're not using their character names, phew!

Following a game where one knows nth about almost every single player, and trying to figure things out is very interesting. Hope to have enough time to follow the tournament.

Haha. I stopped following the game halfway through... I think a bit of a shambles is putting it mildly.

Well it was entertaining in a "I can't believe this is really happening" way :D

I'm taking this "town or mafia" quiz on mafiauniverse.com (they give you a quote from an old game out of context and you have to guess whether a townie or mafia is saying it), here is one of the quotes:
