drealmer7: I found there to be potential for more discussion than was in the previous game. I just went a little wild with it. I say we try it a bit slower paced and have deliberateness involved in the decisions to shoot.

Actually, I myself neither played that game, nor did I observe it - I just skimmed through to get a basic idea of what happened. I know my first shot would be for absolutely no known reason at all. I would shoot whoever I feel like I want to. Later I may get involved in mild discussions.

But what discussion do you have in mind?
As far as I'm concerned, there is only one real guideline for playing Russian Roulette Mafia: "Shoot early, shoot often, shoot everyone that isn't you."

Anything else is just complication, and you know how Vitek feels about complication.

Then I played it to a T last time! But I still actually think it could be played a little more normal/with flavor to try and stir up discussion.

2 people kidnap 6 others (gas them/chloroform or somesuch) and then all get locked in a room and "wake up" and the 2 pretend to also have been knocked out and wake up (they just fake wake up) and the 6 others don't know who did it or that it is even anyone there, there's just a gun and bullets and instructions on what they must do in order to escape.

but that is just a quick brainstorm thought, would have to tweak I'm sure

a break is good too though, I'm busy as it is, just the gap made me think of the idea to do RR and I got excited at the thought

I like those sorts of scenarios, in general. I didn't find Saw to be done well at all, though.

What discussion? I'm just here to pull the trigger as often as I can! If I catch you mid-sentence, then I'm just going to shrug and point the gun at my next potential victim.

I'm ready to run Resistance any time since there isn't really any setup to do. It fits anywhere from 5-10, though I feel like we'll be hitting the high end of the scale.

My game's theme is 'Stuff yogsloth Thinks Up", so it will incorporate all his ideas, even those he hasn't thought of yet or has forgotten.

The set-up will require exactly 327 players. I am optimistic about the prospects.

But, seriously, my game is going to be about Cold War Era spy games. The location will be Washington DC.

Or, failing that... it will be a vanilla game with absolutely no flavor and few roles (open set-up 95% likely).

It'll be fine. I'll have a stiff posting rule of at least 1 post per 6 hours. Anyone not doing so will be promptly modkilled using the 'STU clause'. I don't care if if you have to wake up in the middle of the night to post, there will be no exceptions!
