Just my opinion, but I think you kinda heavily stacked the odds against the poor dude by making it one evil role and 11 townies.

haha! but then I was like "yeah okay, I'm excited to see how it goes at least." and I think it went pretty well, even though fast! A quick fun bite-sized morsel of a mafia game!
The back and forth with Ix and Lift was quite entertaining and all the other angles were good, engaging, and well-played all around, I think. I do think it could have been fun if JMich would have just become a 2nd killer and continued the game as an evil mod!

It was incredibly hard to win for SK in this scenario. But perhaps it is actually harder for him to win if there is mafia present as there is bigger chance for them to both avoid lynch and NK from mafia.
Poor SK fellow always has it hard.
What I find troublesome with this setup is that it is general rule to make sure to create setup that doesn't completely stands on 1 role and if that role dies, the game or its gimmick falls apart or, in this case, just ends.
I have not followed the game (except the start and random part around Ix's claim/non-claim) but I understand people enjoyed it, so great. I think the open flavour start helped with getting the game pick up but I also think it shouldn't be possible to end it after D1 with death of ordinary SK.

Well, the problem with it is that with one killing role, the town could literally just random lynch every day and have a good chance of finding him from wild chance alone. It'd eventually come down to 4 people, and convincing them NOT to lynch him would be a tricky task. Not impossible (I mean, I've won against worse odds), but very tricky.

@zeo - as a random proposition it's not as bad as you think. Working on a shitty laptop in google sheets, but whipping the numbers around, the odds of hitting the correct lynch randomly in the first 4 days is only 40%.
It only rises about 50% if you go through D5. I think what makes it unbalancing here is the number of town roles in play which skew the odds further away from random.
And I don't just say it because it's how it played out, but vig was kind of the natural place for a SK to claim (it was what I planned to claim as Ninja Janitor) and here it's, well, I'll let admiral akbar tell you:

I think the setup was okay. The one thing that might have helped, not an open setup, but tell the SK what the setup is. If he knows there is no cop and no Watchers and Trackers, he can claim anything including cop. Now that would have made it interesting...
