Stop misquoting me, you are totally lying and trying to frame me.
Yeah, loved that show. Spader and Shatner were awesome. I kinda think Shatner just played himself... but it worked! ;)

One of the best shows, I think. Shatner's personality came out a bit in it, but he's not nearly that crazy, or conservative.
Trent, you should definitely watch it! Actually, I recommend The Practice first because the last season leads to/sets up Boston Legal (James Spader's character, Alan Shore, is in the last season of The Practice, and it really helps with understanding him a bit/see his character development), and is also a great show (but very serious drama opposed to Boston Legal which, even though has seriousness to it, lightens things quite a bit to balance the serious.)
David E. Kelley is great. We've recently been watching Picket Fences - sooo damn good!

drealmer7: hopefully that last game will have players considering various possibilities with instance-specific considerations instead of making blanket judgements based on generalized ways of playing...
A. That assumes we actually learn anything. Your optimism is beautiful - never change! B. That there will be overlap between who played that last game and who played your game. Guard of Town arsonist, ftw.
C. That Hijack isn't playing to just go "Yeah, but WIFOM, man. Vote Bob. Hey, did I tell you guys about that party from the other night?" And then, even if he isn't scum, scum just pile on behind him.
Edit - which probably sounds dickish, but was at least intended in good humor.

well town will outnumber mafia so hopefully reasonable heads will prevail from any wagons rolling to lynch before we decide as a group that they should...and if that is as helpful as he's going to be, that's not helpful, and I say we lynch him for being a non-helpful townie. (: actually, I feel like I'm moving towards policy lynching anyone who seems to be hindering town's objectives. not-helpful, probably fine, maybe eventually you will be. blocking productive discussion/hindering it? it's lynch time

This is just my opinion, but it seems a little like a bad idea to me, since some people just want to goof around and sometimes it can be a strategy to draw attention away from yourself/distract the players. It might cut down on activity.

everyone should want to sign up for my game! the opening post is only 2 pages long in word...*laughs maniacally*
okay that might be a bit fibbous
but, I don't see what that mode of thinking has to do with my game setup (:
but, also, how is it not reasonable that anyone behaving anti-town (I view blocking productive discussion as anti-town behavior) isn't a valid lynch target?

A Game Moderator by definition should be invisible. but, also, how is it not reasonable that anyone behaving anti-town (I view blocking productive discussion as anti-town behavior) isn't a valid lynch target?
To interfere in any way, other than answering questions, is changing the dynamic.
What will town do when a moderator speaks to another player and threatens to modkill/lynch them?? If it isn't a specific rules infraction then why??
And "hindering town's objectives" is a bit dubious. Will that be lurking, ignoring questions, posting youtube and picture links??
Isn't anti-town bound by Brannigan's Law to hinder town??
