zeogold: I don't think I'll ever play again, but I'd be happy to be a moderator if you guys ever need one, since, as you can tell, I'm on here a lot.
You can't moderate without playing more.

The games are complicated and take a lot of knowledge and devotion to be able to moderate, and especially more forum mafia experience!!! That russian roulette game was extremely simply and atypical for how it is normally.

Well, in a normal game there is no shooting. Just lynching.
That would be the best way to go if you want to mod: play at least one more normal game, then assist modding (to see how someone else does it) and then mod yourself.

only if that mafia member also had a 1-shot vigilante ability

a town or another role could possible INSTA-KILL someone if they wanted IF they had the ability in their role, but it's not typical.

and still wouldn't be a wise move for you to do "just because" (: you'd most likely die next too

....wait, what? Then what's the point of being a mafia member if you can't kill anybody at night? I thought that was the whole premise of the game!

that's different, really, go read some games and rules and the wiki and stuff, no point in explaining how things work to you backwards and out of context. Even so, you might want to consult with your fellow mafia before just laying down a kill request to the moderator. They might not like that.

It kinda comes down to terminology. Yeah, you're shooting someone, and I think that was what you had in mind. But we tend to refer to that as a Nightkill.

Simply 'shooting' people usually means a special ability like vigilante.
