That is only possible if you are a PR(but there's been no "night" yet so how could you check into them if that were the case?) or another scum/neutral that knows they are also scum/etc. Unless you are town & just guessing based on one of their posts or some other reason?

An better way of being serious with your suspicion is actually voting as that is the only action that actually does something. FOS is a waste of time and a shade for scum to try and hide in. A real Town player should be more concerned about finding scum then for scum potentially abusing their vote.

First bit: that stance would be more applicable if we had less players and it was further into the game....on the first day it's just as valid a tactic as using random*org as we have low likelihood of even hitting scum the first day in many games.

Precisely. It's pointless and does nothing while appearing as it does to the untrained eye. Worrying about scum abusing Town votes is also only a concern later in the game.

I remember at least 2 occasions in past games where Joe came up with a complete list pretty much straight out of the door. One time he was Town and was at least partially if not fully wrong. The other time he was scum and was fully wrong (from Town's perspective, that is). That isn't AI though, but it is somewhat consistent with what I've seen from him before.

They could also just as easily get a wagon started on someone once a few vote are placed on someone....i'd rather not risk that and some might feel the same.

I also tend to vote one of the people on my list and stick with that vote for the majority of the day. What do you reckon? Should I change tactics this time round?
