confident? how do you mean? how can you tell?

Well, with Pooka and me being more likely lunches by now, his chances of surviving D1 just increased.

@Joe: no. I'm not going to participate in your 'just lynch Lifthrasil' plot. Self voting would be damaging to Town, as almost always.

There are ways you can participate in your lynch without voting yourself! You can name drop your scumbuddies for example

JoeSapphire: confident? how do you mean? how can you tell?
Confident maybe isn't the best way to describe it but his last few posts have a different feel to them. To me at least. He was so reluctant to vote as he was afraid he would make a mistake but once he did he started defending his vote calling Pooka's posts LAMIST where he saw them as Town-like earlier.

By his own words his playstyle improved.

Then the slight scold on RFG for not going with the top wagon.

I don't know, he looked a lot more squeamish earlier and now not so much. Am I reading too much into this?

What are you reading into it? You think it's a scumtell?

Odd that he went from lift's wagon saying "maybe I should stay on it" then, as you say, criticises RedFire a few posts later for voting lift.

But, I don't know. None of it seems out of character.
avatar
JoeSapphire: lol, you can have my major town points

Feel like flopping back this way yet, GameRager?
It depends...do I get compensated for such? Or is it me doing it pro bono?

dedoporno: Is it just me or did GR grow more confident in the last few posts?
People want me to take more interest in and do such in the game, so I am trying to oblige.
avatar
ZFR: Pooka, do you want to claim?
I'm not sure I'd like to do that. There is the chance I make it to Day 2 alive, in which case I would like not to jeopardize this by claiming, unless you're dead set on having me lynched.
That's time up for me, sorry! There's enough activity that I trust you can get a lynch if I leave my vote on lift, and I might even get back in time for more looming deadline excitement.

Good luck town! xx

Unfortunately I can't since I don't know who the scum are. But if I were scum, I would name-drop you, of course. I would like being scum with you. I'm sure that would be fun.

But I have to drive on. So I'll be away for a while again. (If you read anything about a nuclear explosion in Germany, it wasn't new! ... And yes, that was a joke)

Since Pooka is back at L-2 and GR's train doesn't seem to be going anywhere, I think I'll have to switch in spite of Pooka looking more towny in the last posts. He is right, after all, his flip would give us more information than GR's would. Of course I will look terribly bad if he flips Town, but that's a risk I have to take. Hopefully he is scum after all.

unvote GameRager
vote Pooka

JoeSapphire: What are you reading into it? You think it's a scumtell?
I don't know, it might be. I have never seen him as scum and have no idea how he behaved then and if there was a similar situation.

avatar
JoeSapphire: None of it seems out of character.
To me it kind of does. I've come to expect him to sit on the fence and not commit and keep a bit wishy washy and now it suddenly felt different. I'm not sure what to think of it, that's why asked if it's just me. What Lift says is probably at least somewhat correct, the question is whether that's indicating a scum who was drowning but suddenly someone else got it worse and he got a breath of fresh air. Or Town doing the same. Or none of it....

That's fantastic but people have been asking for this since X games (not posts, games) ago and you decided to flip the page just a couple of hours before deadline after alternative wagons to yours picked up? Was that post of Lift that inspired you? If yes, that is one hell of a post as it would have shifted 2 different people's different views in a different way at the same time. Damn.

Or maybe it's just me trying to play better/more actively and I just chose that moment out of the blue due to people's posts/other factors? That is also an option.

Sure it is, but we are not the greatest fans of "out of the blue" actions. Only two things scare me and one of them is sudden and not-obviously-explicable changes in position/behavior near deadline.

I would expect your play style becoming better to happen gradually, not out of the blue when you are reasonably suspected.

It would still be out of the blue if I did it any other time, to be fair.

It was gradual, though....I made one vote on you based on a few posts that gave me a feeling....it's not like I went and wrote a ton of lists and made charts or anything.

No, you're not getting it. It's not because you did it out of the blue and that's just it. It's because you did it out of the blue right after getting people to suspect you for so long during this game. They would've been more willing to accept it if you did that change right at the start of the game, if not then before we suspected you. That's how it happens gradually.
