That was in the context of you providing lists from the get-go that in my experience are more often that not incorrect. My point was that I'm not discounting the possibility of the list being genuine in which case it might end up being correct.

1st bit: It does give us something to work with....if you turn out to be town we analyze the wagon. Also had I voted for someone else that vote would've been seen as suspect as well, most likely....I couldn't win likely no matter what way I went.

This is mostly right, but I mainly have a set play style more than not knowong how the basics(the basics of the basics, and bare bones at that) work. I also see some thing some see as anti-town play(FOS, joining wagons that are the longest, etc) as acceptable play & they are easiest for me so I go with them more.

GameRager, what I think everyone expects is an honest attempt to solve the game. Asking questions, trying to understand why people are voting for someone else. And you don't seem to be doing any of that. Just another post where you will vote the "longest wagon". IF you are Town, you are telling scum they automatically have your vote if they can manipulate events meaning they need one less to get the lynch they might want. I doubt they would be so bold day 1 but that attitude will bite us if carried into future days. Telegraphing that you don't care to investigate, don't care why people are voting the way they do is decidedly anti-town play.

Question to those who have played with GameRager when he was Town. Did he act this same way? Joined the longest wagon and didn't contribute at all? I only have game #61 to go off, and I thought I spotted him as scum because of the way he floated all game. Guess I might be disappointed if that did not indicate his alignment.

That's the only way I've seen him so far (being Town and playing in a similar manner). It was one of the cornerstones in our victory as scum which is pretty much the only thing giving me pause at the moment.

Exactly. Even GR, even with bad memory, should have learned after that game that just joining the longest wagon works for the benefit of Scum. I don't know whether he's just repeating the same error for whatever reason or whether he is using his known MO as an excuse to vote for convenient mislynch-wagons.

@GameRager: a serious question, because I want to understand you better. What's the fun in playing this game for you? For me it is trying to read other people. Trying to analyse them. The game, in it's nature, is a battle of wits. But if you don't even try to analyse and give up on reading people from the start, saying 'I'm always wrong anyhow', then where is the appeal for you? That's not an accusation. It's not my place to tell you how to have fun. Flubb played this game just to screw with others, being intentionally ...flubby. Which is also a kind of fun, for him at least. So if it's your idea of fun to repeat the same mistake again and again, that's your call. But you lament that you are always wrong and that you are usually an early lynch. So why don't you try to get more out of the game? Why don't you even try to analyse and find your own solutions to the big 'who is genuine Town and who is pretending' riddle?

How do you get to that conclusion? You wrote that you base that speculation on the fact that the last 8vs2 game had a Daychat. So yes, it is possible. But there are other ways to balance games of this size and this Daychat speculation is only that, speculation. This is a closed setup, after all. Yet you write as if you were relatively sure that there is a Daychat. You even re-iterate that you think there is. So did I miss something? Did trent hint at something like that?
