Lifthrasil: Wait what? After lamenting that you don't want to lynch the wrong person you vote for a person you don't have any case against? Even apologizing in the process? ... I know I asked you to vote and in a way I got what I asked for. But the point is: if you are Town, you'll want to give you fellow Townies something to work with. Some thoughts and suspicion of your own. A 'meh, I'll just jump on the longest wagon' doesn't add anything of value. We're not that close to the deadline that that would be a necessity to avoid a no-lynch. So it's a scummy move. If you vote me, state why you think that I'm likely scum. I suspect that your vote is pure self-preservation. You were pointed to the fact, that my train is viable and so you do your part to make it more viable to avoid being lynched yourself. Right?
I voted you because I have no case(or not much of one) on anyone else at the time, and I didn't want to just RNG vote, so I chose your wagon.
Also lol....first people say me NOT voting is scum-like, then that me voting is scum-like....I can't win I guess.
Lifthrasil: Well, time for an actual OMGUS vote then. Since this move was either very bad Town play or more likely Scum, who isn't able to make an own case, trying to preserve himself by joining the longest wagon. (And also my preferred target wagon isn't going anywhere) and I'll keep that vote there until you provide some own thoughts beyond "it's the longest wagon available".
unvote JoeSapphire
vote GameRager Ok then....
Lifthrasil: I would suggest Pooka or GR. GR gives off the air of a flailing newbie who doesn't exactly know what he's doing. ... But here's the thing: he isn't. By now he is no Newbie anymore and he knows how this game works. So I think he might be scum using the 'I don't know what to do' schtick.
Poor IRL memory(I forget things), combined with my laziness(keeping lists on the game like some might) doesn't help me leave the "newb" phase much. Lifthrasil: @ZFR: I notice that you still have your RVS-vote on me. Why? Did it turn into a real vote? Then elaborate please. Or did you forget it there?
@all: I'm at L-2 now. It is custom to wait until L-1 to claim, but we frequently were too close to the deadline to make anything useful out of a claim. Leading either to a no-lynch or a mis-lynch. I don't want either, since frankly I don't want to BE today's mis-lynch. But a pre-mature claim does damage to Town too, because it gives Scum something to work with. So my question to all of you: should I claim at L-2? And when? ASAP? Or for example 24 hours before the deadline? What do you think.
Why are you asking about ZFR's vote or wanting to claim all of a sudden(at the time this bit was posted, not when I post my reply)? Nervous?
==================================
blotunga: You shouldn't claim yet imho. Not sure why people are ganging up on Lift so much, I feel him town right now.
At this point even though Pooka didn't had the right vibes, GR feels the most disturbing to me too. But not sure if we mis-lynch him will give us any info.
I'm still willing to lynch Pooka, but wanted to regather my thoughts. Joe does make me uneasy as for the rest, I don't have much time to summarise.
@GR, sorry bud but I'm not your mason buddy anymore, and Lift is right with his OMGUS.
vote GameRager No, he isn't, as i'm not scum.....but you do you. :)
(Also why the sudden defense of lift with so much time left to go[at the time you posted this post]? Town wanting to defend town, or something else?)
===================================
Lifthrasil: No, self preservation isn't bad Town play. I'm defending myself too, after all. But if it's the only reason for a vote and that vote boils down to "I'll just throw my vote on the longest train available" it doesn't give Town anything to work with on the next Day. And this method of just joining the most convenient train without contributing anything oneself, is scummy. You know that.
Also, I am a bit disappointed in you. You don't even give any concrete reason for turning your RVS vote into a real vote. So what is it? Leftover mistrust from previous games? I know you always see me as scummy pre-emptively since I strung you along in that other game. But as we discussed with RW - past games don't influence the distribution of alignments in this game. You of all people should know that!
1st bit: It does give us something to work with....if you turn out to be town we analyze the wagon. Also had I voted for someone else that vote would've been seen as suspect as well, most likely....I couldn't win likely no matter what way I went.
2nd bit: Again why so concerned about his vote, especially since(as of this post you made) my own wagon was growing larger?
=================================
JoeSapphire: Well here's the other thing, he's been no-newbie-any-more longer than any of us, but he's never played a game differently. If he doesn't learn how the game works between his second and third games, why should he between his ninth and tenth game?
(GameRager, if I'm out of order, put me right)
This is mostly right, but I mainly have a set play style more than not knowong how the basics(the basics of the basics, and bare bones at that) work. I also see some thing some see as anti-town play(FOS, joining wagons that are the longest, etc) as acceptable play & they are easiest for me so I go with them more.
==================================
agentcarr16: I think Lift's wagon would give us the most information, but I also think he's Town.
I don't like GameRager's style much, but he hasn't done anything particularly scummy.
Unvote GameRager Why does everyone that votes for me leave me? :(
(This is a silly joke post everyone...I like playing so of course not being lynched makes me happier than being lynched)
=================================
=================================
Done for now, everyone....as for me I will keep my vote where it is, but will change it if another wagon gets big enough to avoid a no lynch(so we can get info from it even if lift is town)....have a good day.
Also if anyone has questions I will be on for several hours or so. ==================================
