No worries, we can wait on you ;)
Possible part of the game, not sure yet if will add it or not. This would be with the stipulation that no Character claiming is allowed.

Dean’s Impala (lovingly referred to as “Baby”) has gone missing. But fortunately it’s been found by a random player. Even more fortunately, the player has found that there is a special talisman in the glove compartment that will protect him or her from the effects of any action that would otherwise result in death, excluding lynches, over the upcoming Day and Night.

However, this car belongs to Dean and needs to find it’s way back to him! So at the end of N1 the player must choose a living player to forward the car to. Whoever receives the car will be protected by the talisman over the Day-to-Night Cycle that they are in possession of the car; but at the end of the Night they must choose another player to send “Baby with a Charm” to, and so on, until the car finally reaches Dean.

All magic comes with rules of course!

You MUST transfer Baby with a Charm to another player at the end of the Night during which you have it in your possession. You cannot send it to yourself or the player who sent it to you. Mafia can not have possession of the car for more than two nights.

If you have not submitted a choice by the end of the night, it will be randomly forwarded to one of the living players in the game.

If the person you have sent the car to is lynched during the next day, the car will be randomly reassigned to a surviving player.

Does that mean, the receiving player is told who gave the car to him?

And what happens, when Dean finally gets the car?
I...don't understand all that car stuff, I don't get it. What are the consequences of Dean not having the car?

PookaMustard: What are the consequences of Dean not having the car?
None. Except that the player who has the car is immune to kills.

It's like a total bulletproof ability that works for one day and one night, then you pass it to someone else.

The car thing doesn't protect from lynches....so does that make it more good for town and not scum? If so, wouldn't that make the game a bit more in favor of/balanced towards town?

Only slightly more so, as scum can also receive it, which would mean two nights in a row where it's ineffective as protection against scum (as scum also knows where it is after passing it on). If there's a vig in the game, it might even balance out? Or at least, the advantage for town will be getting very slight indeed. The knowledge of who passed it on will be adding an interesting extra dynamic to talk about (or not), as it's basically a vote of confidence. Of course, it's another aspect where scum will need to keep their story straight, so there things might get interesting. I guess that does give an edge to town, so there's probably some compensation for scum.

Anyhoo, I'm sadly once again in a position where I can't realistically dedicate enough time to the game to be in. It's unlikely that I'll manage to be able to step in if a sub is needed either, but just on the off-chance, I'll refrain from going straight to observer.

Have fun, y'all!

The person receiving the car does not know who it came from. When the car is being passed at night if they pick the person it came from then someone else magically receives the car (the sender is not aware). If Dean gets the car it is no longer in play.

What happens if Dean dies before receiving the car? The thematic drive for passing it on will no longer be valid...
