Sorry, got called away; received some good news though.
dedoporno: [...] Really? Are you asking this for real or are you fucking with me, just to not respond to my post without asking a question?
Anyway, my understanding is that if we manage to hit the CL today they game will be over. [...]
Sorry, neither. The exchanges preceding your post put the case of not hitting the CL Today in my mind, that's what I was thinking when reading your post, and what prompted my question.
dedoporno: [...] Do you think it won't be ending today? [...]
Well, if I end up being the lynch, it most certainly won't. It can go either way with anyone else getting lynched; I have no way of knowing if the one getting lynched is the CL before seeing the flip. Do I think we have a good chance with Hunter65536? I do, and certainly hope so, but I can't dismiss the Day may not end.
dedoporno: [...] That's a fair point. Still, I don't think it nullifies what I said earlier.
No, it doesn't, but a few things have to fall in place to see it.
Bookwyrm627: [...] like you're collecting other people's opinions without revealing your own. [...]
Well, a quick skim through your own ISO says you've done more or less the same.
Bookwyrm627: [...] No, I haven't invested the two plus hours to comb through an ISO of you, yet.
Hunter's character name is Mary...wait. Well booping boop. Trent's name is Mary Porter, not Hunter.
Ugh. Now the poem doesn't make any sense at all. It was supposed to be a clever little thing about how Mary (Hunter) is the CL (dissuading people from striving for Village of the Year), using an old poem that starts similarly ("Mary, Mary, quite contrary"). [...]
I thought it doesn't make sense. But since you haven't reread me, why are you voting Hunter65536?
Krypsyn: [...]
Do you want to fix that post too, HypersomniacLive? It seems perfectly legible to me, but feel free if you think it needs it. Same deal applies, just reply to this if you decide to edit.
edit: Actually, I was wrong. Same deal does not apply.
My OCD initially made me want to fix it, but I'll pass.
JMich: Same deal does not apply, since it's the second time this game day. Option to edit comes with a post restriction, he is free to choose whether to edit or not.
Yeah, one mistake is not so bad, subsequent mistakes are.
Neither of the two messes is me making a mistake. No offence, but you basically want to punish me for GOG's screw up - that security fix they applied is causing all these issues. And no, "you know about it" doesn't quite cover it, as the messes manifest only after the post(s) go live; they show perfectly fine in the BE preview window of quick posts as well as the edit ones. So thanks, but no thanks, I won't take the punishment; I just won't bother myself anymore.
