It is role-madness. All players will have some role, although that could be limited to one-shots or passive defensive powers. So lynch anyone claiming to be Vanilla. There is no, "the only Vanilla" role. It may or may not be a traditional setup, but to protect the mystery of the setup (if there is one), initially it will be faction flip only (excepting any abilities that alter this rule) which may disturb some people but that's okay since I'm a jerk.

The setting is the Sunny Meadow retirement community in Boca Raton, Florida which features an 18-hole golf course, tennis courts, shooting range, etc. Attractive to active retirees. After a string of mysterious disappearances and deaths, the older members of the community have rounded all of you up and locked you in the Community Center for being potential undesirables (retired wiseguys, lawyers, bankers, accountants, shrinks, circus clowns, etc). You are to settle it out among yourselves so the survivors and the rest of the community can live the rest of their lives in luxurious retirement awaiting a natural death.

Participation requirements will be somewhat lax. Rather than a fix number of days of inactivity, the expectation is decent participation around the end of each day. (Posting that I'll try to catch up is not considered decent participation.) Doesn't mean I might not prod you to see if you are alive, just that I won't modkill you unless your slot has become an end of day "log".

This game is size adjustable with a larger game including more whackiness. In other words, the bigger the game the more likely I include things like Bookwyrm's requested Vig shot or the like, to keep the game to a reasonable number of expected game days regardless of size.

I do realize this is summer, so I plan to be a little flexible with deadlines. In theory, I think ending days Monday - Thursday when I get home from work at around 10:30-ish to avoid complications with vacation and summer weekends for players. As well as working around announced vacation dates.

In theory if I were ever going to play again (short of getting fired from my job) now would be the time.

But my level of contribution will probably be only slightly more than bloop/blorp once per day.

Even on the rare day when I am at my desk for more than an hour or two at a time there are just too many fires to put out to take lunch, much less play a game. Personal life should be a bit slower the next month, but by the time I get home I'm a bit fried and tired.

I'm on vacation today and I still spent 2-3 hours on work.
