I don't know if you drew scum and decided to be a dick or whether you drew town and decided to be a dick. That's the problem. These two cases are indistinguishable and you know that I hate intentional uselessness and I never got the point why some people think that that is a good strategy.

But at least now, that I got you talking in an intelligible way, you can explain the idea behind that to me? I mean it's not the first time you try to be useless on purpose. Flubb has done that too in the past. But why? Just for shit and giggles? I don't believe that gauging reactions to that way of playing are indicative of alignment. At least not in my case. Mostly I have no idea how to play this. Like I said, I am going to be an enormous source of amusement for Mafia so I just hope it's people who will properly enjoy it.

I can't recall - were you not in Drealmer's game? He spent the majority of that game being unhelpful and even a bit morose. I took his enthusiasm as a good sign he was likely to engage sooner or later. I also kinda wondered if he was baiting, just as I'm trying to figure out whether wyrm/lift were/are baiting.

with the caveat that we're <48 hours in, drealmer's posts have been consistently the most aboveboard, whether or not I agree with all his points.

Do you know something we don't, as in if gamma is or is not scum this game? How would you know he is not scum this game making him scum twice during your games together? The only ones that know who is scum and who is not scum is scum.
You could say that I meant it as I know im not scum but he maybe and I know who I am so I can say I not scum so we cant be scum together this game but then you follow it up with the amount of games played together and mention he has only pulled scum in one mutual game. /eye brows raised here, big time.

TL:DR ;To me this says: Im scum and your not, are you ever going to be scum with me again. Then we have been in 10 game and gamma has only been scum once. And I know he cant be scum now because I know who scum is.

To me I can not see how being ok with throwing around votes on someone who did not have the chance to post at all is not a good thing. And could possibly lead to a wagon and quick lynch. And that would be very bad for us. We could lose an important role. If Lift is scum he would already know who is scum and he could care less who gets killed as long as they are not scum. And if we are not getting revels we would be blind on what we possibly lost. Why take all that risk when if we have an issue with someone not playing we have someone in the spot to sub, We would not lose a possible important role and have a player able to interact. We would not gain anything but lose of a player if the player has not chance to add anything to the game at all. No posts and votes to take a look at. It bothers me that I was the only one that this really seemed to bother so I asked to see if Im over thinking this or not seeing something. And talking about things and not rushing a lynch right now is a good thing.

A power role. One that if we lose would really hurt us and possible impact the chance of being able to win. IE doctor, tracker, watcher, cop. I know its a role madness game and while all roles are a big part of the game. However losing one that can help protect someone that is confirmed town or losing someone who can determine if someone is lying about what they did or where they went, someone who can confirm someone visited someone and that person ended up dead.

Two ways you can tell I'm not mafia:
1) My posts have typos- when I'm scum I obsess over every post for content/tone, and here while it's not stream of consciousness, I'm not really investing in it. I said my food thing was intentional when it was unintentional, and one of the sentences in my last post clearly has the wrong words in the wrong places ("talk them everyone it ") that I would have caught it I were actually proof-reading at all.
2) Life is literally a shitshow right now. If I had rolled scum I'd either be lurking or I'd have come out the door self-voting so my teammates could at least not go down trying to defend my complete not trying. I literally could not handle any more stress than I already have going on.

Tired is fair. I can relate to that.

On the first point he was throwing shade over narrative crap, so he's not likely to just take your word for it. ;)

On the 2nd point, I agree it was curiously fervent for that point in the game. Like Lift distilled to his Lift-iest essence (which seems to me to be a pattern so far). Also agree with cristi (perhaps putting words in her mouth) that you were curiously fervent about Lift's curiously ferventinity.

On the roles, as town, unless your role says backup, or you're a role cop with a N0 action, you have no knowledge of roles beyond your own until we see a few flips. Even if someone claims tracker how will you judge if its important to the setup or not? Maybe there's a backup tracker. Maybe scum are invisible.

And maybe the doctor is scum. Again.

So your logic, at least out of the gate, is a bit more practically relevant from the other side of the table where at least by N1 you can cobble more of a picture together, and depending on setup, a better gauge on who's lying/not. And as scum maybe you're more tempted to fake a claim b/c your actual role, even if it looks townie, might not be enough to save you in a game where everyone has a role. Not to say town can't lie as well, but the setup means you'd need a really good reason. Scum have one built-in.

Take each claim on its own merits, if and when they come.

But it is a good argument for not putting wagons off until deadline (assuming there are such), so there's time to assess whatever is claimed and who's making it.
