Just a suggestion, but can't JMich still be a replacement since he never actually entered the game and we all know the result of the flip? If that helps...

I have not rephrased anything. From Day 1 you've tried to put me and drealmer as a scum team and if that was not gaining traction you've tried to paint RW as scum. Once you realized that lynching RW would make you look bad all of a sudden you want no part of that and try to start distancing yourself from Lift (he's been one of your town reads all game) and accusing him of being scum because you know if he's lynched he'll flip scum and you'll look good. On Day 2 alone you've waffled on RW depending on how much pressure you were under, he's gone from too suspect to not a suspect then to someone you'd still lynch to finally someone you will not touch. All depending on the pressure you were under at the time.

I haven't got time to do a point by point today as I have to go out to work soon, so it will probably be tomorrow, but I think there is a lot of misunderstanding or twisting of my stance going on there in that last post...

As Gamma flipped town I can't see anything JMich should know that the rest of us don't... but I still don't think it's a great idea for him to sub in as someone else.

I'm trying really hard not to think that myself. I don't think gogtrial would do that... but he's not been scum before, still relatively new and possibly has a buddy under fire and in danger of a lynch (with his vote needed to decide it)... if anything was going to make you stress quit a game it would be that.
Unfortunately it's probably too late in the day to worry about right now, beyond the fact that his replacement will probably still need to make the deciding vote on the lynch the way things stand... in which case they need to be in the game and up to date before Wednesday :/

I will finish my analysis of adalia tonight and get to Lift, I ran out of time last night and am trying to work today. I do have a doctors appointment this afternoon so not sure how much I'll be around till this evening. My quick thoughts on Lift is that he's been trying to distance himself from adalia most of the game but trying to not really lynch him. He keeps jumping around from drealmer, RW, and adalia for the most part but also trying to cast shade on others in case he needs to focus on them later.

@trent: really? I have not been trying to lynch adalia for real??? Last time I checked, I put him at L-1 and he has been there for days.

@HSL: I've read through your posts and I see where your suspicion of me comes from. But I'm at a conference again and it is difficult to go through all that stuff you wrote and answer it piece by piece on my mobile phone. So I'll just answer one of your last questions and work my way backwards as time allows:

adalia has been at L-1 for long. So either he is scum or trent and drealmer are scum. If trent flips town, I can exclude the "both scum are on adalia's wagon" theory, since I know I"m town. So only the adalia is scum theory remains.

And vice versa. If adalia flips town, trent and drealmer have to be scum. Otherwise adalia's survival doesn't make sense.

And yes I went back. And yes, adalia wrote a lot which seems towny. But the scum points remain so I still think he's a good lynch. Part of what I was accused of as scum tell was my wavering. Which is funny. When I stick to a vote I am accused of tunneling. When I don't stick to it, I am accused of wavering. So, no matter what I do, it will be twisted. So I don't care how what I do can be made to look and just stick to what I think is best for town.

We're looking for a sub for Gogtrial. There are a couple more people we're going to contact, but here's a question I'm putting before the group.

JMich has already subbed in once. We've kicked around the idea of letting him sub again since he was killed before having any chance to affect the game.

Having him sub in yet again would be distinctly irregular, so I've proposed the idea to Cristi of putting it before the players for a secret vote. I've already pinged her, but since Cristi may not be available for several hours I'm going to put this before you now in case the idea is okay with everyone.

Here's the question and the conditions:
Do you, personally, find it acceptable to allow JMich to sub for Gogtrial?
{Edit: Also, Do you, personally, find it acceptable to allow JMich to sub again in this game (if needed; there are no other current needs for a sub, and hopefully there won't be any more)}

PM Cristi and/or me with a "Yes" or "No" vote. While voting, please also indicate that you are voting on whether to allow JMich to sub again (so there is context for the PM'd response). I'll forward to Cristi any votes that are sent to me.

That's not really a sensible conclusion to make. gogtrial could easily be the other scum and doesn't know how to precede, particularly if it's a choice between bussing and hammering a townie (and therefore making themselves and possibly their buddy look bad). With whatever RL stuff that has occurred to make them sub out they may not have had the chance to make any decision.

Or you could be scum and both scum are on my wagon, which quite frankly seems the more likely solution to the problem. The play acting you and trent are performing to make it seem like you're not buddies really isn't up to much.

Your post #581 pretty much says that the only reason you posted is because you were prodded. Still, I'll ask you a couple of questions, and hope to get a reply other than "it's evident, etc., etc.".

- Can you lay out the reasons we should lynch adaliabooks over Lifthrasil? Why do we need to get on board already?
- In what way do you factor in that he's at L-1? It looks quite strange to me that you left this standing there on each on as an argument.
- Why lynching Lofthrasil can be only for some crazy reason?
