Leonard03: Because I'm trying to be productive and... things.
I hate to break it to you but productivity is overestimated. One can achieve far greater things by procrastinating. Tomorrow.

Well I'm hoping to make a game, which is being productive to help others not be productive. Does that count?

Yep.

Leonard03: For a change of pace you know. Plus Morrowind is a big game.
If you wait to finish Morrowind before playing something else, have a nice life and I hope you live a long time. I finally put it down when I was level 52, having "explored" half the island (read: "had it highlighted on my map because I ran/flew through the square on my way elsewhere") because I wanted to actually play something different. I two shotted the final boss.

Funny story: that same character was the one that lost a knife fight against an unarmed peasant while at the beginning of the game.
I have no idea how many hours I put into Morrowind, back in that long-ago era known as the "BK" days. (Before Kids, obviously.)

But I had a perfect character that could one-shot pretty much anything, nearly 100% mastery on all skills (but there was one where, due to a bug that was never fixed, the master could never appear), finished both expansions and all the official bonus content.

That was a lot of work.

But I also quit with large chunks of the northeast unexplored because it was just all the same shit.

Supposedly there was a talking crab or something I missed, but whatevs.

You know, I never did actually play any of the expansion content (except for killing the assassins that jump you while you sleep).

You did miss out. That was some of the best stuff. The city of Sotha Sil (sic?) was incredible. The visuals on that game still rank up there with the most immersive gaming experiences ever. Hard to believe how many years ago it was. Building your own Town was also kinda neat, even though it was fairly redundant by the time you could get there to do it.

That wood elf ... 'nuff said.

I had fun with it, but I didn't seem to love it as much as many others.

As I said, I really did take stock one afternoon and make the decision to power through the main plot so I could say I "completed" it. I think I was level 20 something before I actually delivered the package you get when you get off the boat.

Could you kill Sotha Sil and Almalexia? As far as I'm concerned, they're back stabbers and need to join Vivec.

I killed Vivec. And when I say 'Vivec' I am referring to the city and everything in it, not just one guy.

At least that is how I remember it. After 'winning' I just killed everything I saw. Because I could. My magic items were so brokenly OP, I couldn't be damaged, iirc. This was the beta build, however, and I think they nerfed magic items a bit for release. I never bothered to play through the game again with the release version (anything I know of expansions and such is because I watched LPs of them at one point or another).

Well... we're getting into spoiler territory now. :)

Yep. I hope me revealing that I was a psychopath in that game doesn't spoil anything.. :P
