bler144: Good point, I can see why that would confuse. The actual game will be called "Murder on the Wing."
I want to be the Albatross! Wait, that dies.
I want to be the Bald Eagle!
...endangered.
I want to be the...pigeon?
Expendable.
Uhhh...
GOT IT! I WANNA BE THE GUY!
So if your avatar were extended, it might look something like this?

F YEAH THE DODO BIRD!
And now I'm hearing a line, I think from Ice Age, in my head: "There goes our last female."
As for books.
Time to top you all on sheer count: The Animorphs series. Granted, last time I read them was...2001? Anyway, recently unpacked my collection, and my wife has been going through them (I've been gaming).
I've liked a lot of stuff over the years. Hard to pick just a few, but most of the ones that spring to mind seem to actually be YA fiction.

A surprisingly very good book I found when I was a kid was Watership Down by Richard Adams, one of my all time favorite books.
I also highly recommend the author Brandon Sanderson, especially his Lightbringer series, very well written and I look forward to the series being finished.

Right - Hunter PMed to say he's in, so we're set with 11.
I'll need a few hours to make sure everything is square and start sending PMs out. We'll launch officially either tonight or first thing tomorrow.
Thanks everyone - I'm looking forward to it! :)

Ooooh book club!
1) Siddhartha, Hermann Hesse
2) Economics and the Public Purpose, JK Galbraith
3) I think I have to go with yog here, for a lot of the same reasons: Dune, Frank Herbert
Catcher in the Rye, The Theory of the The Leisure Class and Walden would probably round that out. Along with a bunch of others I'm sure I'm forgetting. Oh and The Once and Future King and The Killer Angels.
I notice we're big fans of dead political philosophers and stagnating bureaucracy here in GoG Mafia World. Interesting, interesting.
Oh, also:
Barred Owl, Red Breasted Merganser, Mallard

Also one of my all-time favorite books! but you didn't sign up for the game! now we are all quarantined in this wing of the hospital naming books and YOU CAN'T JOIN US!
*starts making way around the wing collecting all of the needles and scalpels*
I hear the guy in charge of this wing of the hospital is a bastard!

The Count of Monte Cristo (Dumas) and Les Miserables (Hugo) are two of my favorite classics
Big fan of Tolkien and C.S. Lewis
Phantom (Susan Kay) and Christy (Catherine Marshall) are two of my favorites (probably a female thing)
I hear he's related to Nurse Ratched...
