The remaining survivors start to gather around Hunter menacingly.

"Okay, okay, you've got me. No point getting rough. I'll even volunteer to run myself through. But, you know, before you kill me. Why don't you lock me in the room like you did with CSP, and then just, you know, scatter and look for killing implements for like 15-20 minutes? Actually, best be safe - you want to make sure you find just the right tool, so take your time. Call it 25."

"You've lied repeatedly, that much is clear. What do you have to say for yourself?" asks RW.

"What?" responds flub.
"They sneak up on a deer and build a barn around it. Get it?" Hunter laughs at his own joke.

I don't get it, what's your story? questions Krypsyn.

"Ok, well my story is long. You see...

Hunter is sealed in the room, and the group disperses to go find just the right implement of death for this clown.

The group returns. "Anything?" RW asks? Mostly shrugs and disappointed looks.

"I've got it," said Krypsyn, "We use the gurney!"
"To...do what exactly," Drealmer asks?
"Shit, well, then nevermind."Krpsn responds, glumly.
"I've got it, death by snu snu!" says flub, triumphantly.
"Well, let's just get him out here, we'll figure something out," notes cristi.

The door is unsealed and opened. To the group's surprise, Hunter is gone. In his place sits a man you don't recognize.

"Who the hell are you?" asks RW.
"Some men call me...mchack," responds the man. "Hunter had to depart, but he asked me to give this to you." He hands over an object.

It's Hunter's diary.

It takes little time to confirm.

Hunter is gone. He was Harry, Neutral Jestervivor.

Hunter's diary is filled with jokes, and worse, puns. He details his intent to escape, and the preparations, but leaves out where the entrance is hidden.

The group turns to mchack. "So...how do we escape?" cristi asks.

"Ah. I can see you are very wise. The drums will speak always for you, but you shall never know peace until you have passed over the Wheel of Fire that sears sinful flesh and shatters bones to dust. See the future you yet may change."

mchack's words leave the group silent, and a bit confused.

"So you aren't going to show us the exit?" asks Drealmer.
"You will only find it when you cast your fight aside, and learn to work together." answers mchack, sagely.

"So, we're killing him, right? And goddamnit, why did you have to bring up fire," asks RW, twitching slightly as he speaks.
"Yeah, let's do it. Death by snu snu it is." Says flub.
"If you don't mind me, I'm just going to keep napping. No point in letting a good gurney go to waste."

Brave mchack, not an actual player in this game, faced his fate with stern resolve.

"So, should we say he...went out with a bang? Right? ...What, too soon?"

I wasn't actually accusing Drealmer...I paused for dramatic effect....
I presented him first because his story also confirmed it. And reverse claim order made CSPVG's last...

As an editorial note, parts of the above were written in haste and well past my bedtime after a long day. I'll go through it for minor errors in the a.m. but it should be fine for your night-time purposes.

The night passes and day breaks much as it had each day before.

The survivors slowly trickle in. First cristi, looking more rested than days before, then flub, then Drealmer, then RW.

The four wait, and wait. Surely that jerk isn't just playing a joke on them again? The gurney sits across the room, clearly devoid of any body, alive or otherwise. But it seems fruitless to go looking for him - surely he's just off hiding in an air duct or something, having a laugh at their expense.

Hours pass...the group finally relents and walks the two minutes down the hall to Krypsyn's room. Opening the door reveals his bed, with his body in a tangle across it. He's not moving.

"Oh my god, he's dead!" says RW.

Someone starts to sob. When will this end?




They approach and flub pokes at the dead body with her foot. A light moan escapes: he's not dead!

"P...oi...son!" groans Krypsyn.
"Poison?" says cristi "Let me go find some tools and I'll operate!"
"Let's...not. I've seen poison victims before, and this is no poisoning. At worst he looks dehydrated and hungover," observes Drealmer. Nothing some water, rest and maybe a good spliff can't cure.

They fetch a cup of water, a moist rag to clean him up a bit, and slowly nurse him back to health. "He's alive! Hooray!" the four vertical townspeople shout. "Hooray?" moans Krypsyn from his bed.

Day 4 will take place in Krypsyn's bedroom instead of the common area.

No one has died on N3. With 5 alive it takes 3 to lynch.

The thread is now open. A deadline will be set shortly.

So no deaths. That is a bit surprising....

I don't think lynching Hunter66536 is a good idea; something doesn't feel right about it. The wagon is just building too quickly.

Quite. If there are 2 Mafia, and they were capable of killing again, then it would have been game over. Thus, that assumption mustn't be the cast, if they are rational Mafia.
