<D2 Nightfall Post>
After several minutes in darkness, the lights flash back to life. Everyone is blinded, but as vision slowly returns it becomes clear:

Trent has disappeared! He did have magic!

Well, or more likely ran off in the confusion and escaped from the wing. There's an object on the ground where he was last seen - it's a hypodermic needle.

With little evidence to be acquired here, the group organizes to march off to Trent's room. "Hooray! Another field trip!" says flub, whether excitedly or sarcastically it's hard to tell. Hunter volunteers to stay behind and secure the evidence on scene.

On reaching Trent's room, it is clean and tidy. The bed is carefully made, hospital corners and all. There are two sacks of carefully folded clothes by the bed.

A small writing desk is apparent, and sure enough, there's a diary.

"I told you we should've just read everyone's diary!" says Drealmer.
"Quit yer yappin'" says RW.

Inside the diary is tucked an employee badge. "Well, dude wasn't lying at least about that part," notes Bookwyrm. "Name says...Oliver. Doesn't ring any bells"

The group proceeds to read the diary. In it Trent talks about his recent arrival at the hospital and employment as a psychiatrist. However in the last few pages, it becomes clear that, with the crisis, his duties had to change. To defuse the crisis he had to remove players off the wing, unwittingly and unwillingly, one per night.

The lights were probably cut by staff watching on closed circuit camera to let him escape.

Trent is gone. He was:

Oliver, Neutral Serial Killer.

Silence. Don't make me mod-kill you.
A quiet dawn breaks.

After a time people start trickling out of their rooms. The group gathers and takes stock. Let's see, there's:

Drealmer
RW
flub
crist
Hunter.

Weren't there a few more last night? Together the group races off to Krypsyn's room. He's nowhere to be found, though a very large box lies on the floor, torn and damaged beyond repair. "What the shit, didn't the disappearances end WITH THE GUY WHO CLAIMED RESPONSIBILITY? If he's back I'm going to freak out!" screams RW, more than a bit perturbed.

"Well, grab his diary, we'll read it later" flub says. Hunter grabs it, and the group moves on to Wyrm's room. The door is ajar, and a loud "TICK TOCK" can be heard from the hallway.

"It's a bomb!" Cristi cries.
"Uh...pretty sure that's a clock," retorts Hunter. "You seem a bit jumpy, there."
Feeling secure that they are not walking into a blast zone, the group steps into Wyrm's room, and the sight is shocking.

"Shit." Says Drealmer.

He's not kidding. There is shit everywhere. And blood. And tissue. Even from the threshold, you can see that Wyrm is dead, innards torn out through his derriere.
"Ok, seriously, what kind of sick goddamn mafia is this?" Ask Hunter. "This makes no sense at all."
"Get his diary too, we're getting the fuck outta this room," instructs flub.
"Should we check his wristband?" asks RW. "I heard that's super useful. I was going to check my own, but uh, I forgot. I did confirm I don't have one on this arm, though!" He helpfully holds up one arm to show everyone.
"No point," said Drealmer, "unless one of you is lying and can actually read a damn file."

The group turns to look at each other and everyone either shrugs or shakes their head.
"Right, well, let's get back to the common area then," suggests Cristi. Drealmer grabs the diary, and peeking at the file on the desk, notes that Wyrm had been reading a file with the name "Lisa" on it, and another for "Melvin" underneath it. "Got it, let's go!"

The group returns to the common area, shocked, confused, and feeling hopeless. The morning was crushing after the grand success of the day before.

They sat in silence, too bummed to even read the diaries, when suddenly, they hear a strange noise - a rattle and perhaps a...yawn? The gurney starts to shake a bit it seems, as the cloth covering it waves in ripples.

The group, hesitantly, approaches. Is there someone else in the wing with them? Flub points, and makes a silent count...1...2...3!

The cloth is ripped away. There is something - no, someone - adhered to the gurney.

"It's a cocoon!" yells cristi.
"For gods sakes, man, get a hold of yourself. That's not a cocoon, that's duct tape!" says Drealmer.
Someone finds a short blade and the tape is swiftly cut back.
Out tumbles Krypsyn, a bit drowsy, but otherwise looking safe and quite pleased with himself.

"Hi guys, good morning! What did I miss?" And after a cursory glance around at the confused faces: "Oh hey, where's that cop guy?"

The group doesn't know whether to be happy he's alive, or smack him just because. After a short conversation to bring Krypsyn up to speed, they bust open the diary. It takes little time to confirm that at least one thing Wyrm told them was true.

Wyrm is dead. He was Danny, Town Desk Cop.

"Well, he sure came to quite the unpleasant end. Get it, "end"?" Krypsyn poked flub to make sure he got the joke. "Oh, and hey, give me my diary back!" He snatches it away from Hunter, with the intent of returning it to his room later.

The thread is open, and players may resume posting. A deadline for D3 will be set in due time.

All votes have been reset.
RIP Bookwyrm
"Ow"
Mod note - i'm going to be offline for chunks of the weekend, mostly gone during the days other than intermittent check-ins, and around in the eves.

That's the main reason there's no deadline yet, though I would anticipate most likely it will be mid-day Monday.
Vote flub
I don't trust him or his claim, he could be what Trent was warning us about before dying.

RIP Danny!

And why would the SK have this special information? And why are you throwing a quick vote out there at MyLo (or LyLo if one believes your claim)? Let's be careful here. Don't let scum quick lynch for the win.

Granted, that is assuming 2 scum left...

First order of business should be the remaining claims. We are still missing Flub (unless Miller was also your role claim) and Drealmer...

He might be been an SK but considering that he was a psychiatrist brought in to contain dangerous people in facility elsewhere I assume he got some info about who the dangerous ones are. He wouldn't warn us if there was just 1 more dangerous role. Also what was Cristi up to yesterday? Why wasn't Bookwyrm protected? If not flub then let's lynch Cristi.

What are you so worried about? You've won already, right?

Yeah and I want you guys to win as well. Given how Trent had a day ability I'm kind of paranoid of becoming target of a dayvig. Quick lynch is safer for me.
Hello boys and girls!

Guess who came back to snatch away the victory under everyone's nose!

P.S. Vitek smells like a lepper gnome!
Also given that there are still no poison deaths it means CSPVGs comment was a joke.

I am pretty darned sure at this point that his name is 'Miller'. He hasn't claimed anything else, to my knowledge.

Also, IMDABES! (just Google it, if confused, or visit the Admin thread)

Lastly, .. oh.. forgot the last thing. I bet it was totally important too! (probably not)
