Based on a groundswell...well, ok, more a trickle really... of enthusiasm, the group gathers up with the intent of trundling down the hall to JMich's room.
<flavor flavor flavor, joke about gurney rides and perhaps a pun referring to the rides at Six Flags in Gurnee IL, flavor flavor flavor>
You all arrive in JMich's room. The place is still a mess, and people trudging in and out of the blood pool before it had dried didn't help. It still hasn't entirely dried, but it's more tacky than wet.
Together you inspect the body. This has the downside of drowning out anyone who might actually have knowledge of anatomy or medicine, but has the upside of meaning you all observe the same thing and no one can twist the data for their own ends.
"Holy shit, look at that! Look right there!" yelps RW
"Yes, I see it too," observes Wyrm.
"I don't see it, what are you pointing at?" asks Trent
"Ohhh, yeah, I see it too" adds Hunter.
"Fascinating!" says cristi.
Slowly it dawns on everyone. It couldn't be more clear - right in front of your eyes, it's so obvious!
....The data is....inconclusive!
What is clear is that someone spent some time on the body, seemingly originating at the inguinal line of the hip (pick a side) with a significant amount of cutting in that spot, and radiating into the pelvis and lower abdominal cavity (RLQ or LLQ). As noted before, there clearly appears to be some suturing work, but the amount of cutting and blood makes a clean read of whether the cutting followed an initial injury impossible, much less the nature of that injury, at least without cleaning the body followed by a full autopsy in a lab, or at least some tools you don't have: forceps, surgical probe, etc., even a good flashlight.
While you cannot say for sure, there is no depression or sunken-ness in the flesh that would suggest organs or other tissues/structures were removed.
"We really need to pick better field trips," observes flub.
"Might I suggest gurney rides down the hallway?" is Krypsyn's suggestion.
"Sounds fun, but I've really got to get back to work on finding that mouse," Drealmer responds.
<flavor flavor flavor> Bam, you're all back where you were, both a little wiser, and a bit older.
You have a deadline. It has slipped forward to 2:39 pm PST on Thursday, Mar 31.
Which is roughly 28 hours from now. Enjoy!

I FOUND A CLUE! Adalia's blood was dried, so clearly he was killed earlier in the night, compared to JMich. Possibly even the previous Day!
WHO WAS ACTIVE DAY 0!?

Heh. Don't forget that, if you assume temperature is constant, surface area is one of the greatest variables in chemical reaction.
A single drop of blood will dry/oxidize faster than a pool of blood, much as a shallow pool will dry faster than a deep pool. The adalia blood was also on a mattress, which will absorb moisture/plasma out and hasten the drying vs. a non-absorbent institutional floor (tile/cement/laminate).
Once you think it over you determine that comparing the two is likewise...inconclusive. You would need more advanced tools and access to medical research journals to do a meaningful comparison.
But it was a nice try.

Really?? You got that from my specific mention of specific posts where I breadcrumbed as if it were my fricken' job??
Seriously??
And no mention of the Rose Miller avatar??
I've never felt soooo alone, except for my constant companion Krypsyn (the Y is silent).

I knew it was Jennifer Anniston from horrible bosses, didn't remember her name was Rose Miller. I was going to call you Barney to see your response LOL.

Oh.. didn't refresh and missed this.
It is as I suspected: You are Miller, I am Miller.
Just like CSPVG and Bookwyrm627 were both apparently the same. It is interesting how all the files were split between them too, huh?
Oh, by the way, for no reason at all: flubbucket, do you like adhesive?

So, some more thoughts, because I'd rather not get rush lynched just because the deadline arrives.
-----
Adalia's note may be an explanation of the setup, though not completely filled in.
“I’ve written these words, however I very much doubt that’s going to save me, or even that anyone will believe it.
If you are reading this, I have likely been ******* ****. Traitorous scum, scum here! And cops, and two *******, though one is a nov*** and the other *****. And vanilla! Also, chocolate! And ask yourself, why is * so jealously secreting away the **** extin******? It makes no sense! Help us, *bi-Wan, you’re our only hope! Somebody’s poisoned the waterhole!
I do have some powers, to help me with my search, but I’ve got to keep something back just in case I survive the day. Errrr, night. Whatever. If I am dead, will someone please feed my pet mouse?”
-Who pays attention to flavor?
-Adalia is dead, with dried blood left over. Two words (7 letters, 4 letters) to describe the kill and/or death.
-Traitorous scum (Dedo)
-Scum here (other mafia)
-Cops (CSPVG, Wyrm)
-Two ? (7 letters, presumably plural). If doctors, then primary doc and backup doc (JMich; who may have been grinning while holding the bloody knife because he succeeded at a surgical test or something). One is a no*** (novice? JMich?), other (5 letters).
-Not everyone has a grand role. Not sure what to make of that chocolate reference.
-Is the single * an ID number, rather than a name? That would seem to indicate Hunter. Is the secreted object a single thing, or a group of things? RW has claimed it is probably fire extinguishers and related to him.
-Makes no sense, hunh? Sounds familiar, now that we've got information on the table.
-Poison is referenced here, then again with JMich and Hunter. Decoy, or hint?
-So, is the Obi-wan reference a hint?
-Adalia was a neutral lyncher. Is this a hint that the neutral(s) are already dead, or just a play on how he just wants to lynch someone (anyone)?
-----
Unvote RWarehall.
Vote Drealmer.
RW is, at least, being somewhat active and pushing. I'm fine lynching Drealmer, if he is more palatable to people.

Mod note: For about the last 40 minutes I've been having issues with the PM/chat feature- it's just spinning in perpetuity.
If I don't respond to game-related questions that are timely, try adalia, as he will either be able to help or knows how to reach me via QT.

Yeah, I'll vote whomever ... as long as it isn't drealmer7, myself, you, RWarehall, flubbucket, or Hunter65536. I retain the right to change my mind suddenly and without warning, however.
So it isn't just me then. Well, that is both good and bad news.
