There are a few options for that:

1) He doesn't have access to his own file (for moderating reasons, maybe)
2) One person, perhaps dedoporno himself, was not a patient.
3) Something I haven't thought it that is probably blatantly obvious to someone.

1) He doesn't have access to his own file (for moderating reasons, maybe)

#1 is off the table as Bookwyrm stated he did have access to his own file and would have been entitled to a re-pick.
#2 is very possible given his number wasn't revealed
Should there be a SK, I'd also think Bler might have him fileless.

Assuming you mean I don't have access to my file: I had been informed that if I chose my own file, I can read it or repick. I can't confirm this isn't a red herring, but I'm inclined to think it is legit and my file is in there somewhere.

Now that a day after I brought it up, two people now mentioned hearing gunshots...
Anyone else?

Whether JMich died to a gunshot wound vs. just a botched surgery seems it might be rather meaningful...
