RWarehall: Not enough reads to narrow it down.

Krypsyn: I suppose it depends on one's assumptions. It is almost as if you are ignoring what flubbucket and I are talking about!

On the other hand, I have no idea if my assumptions are correct either, but I hardly have zero to go on.
Your assumption we could have a Vig who used their only shot on N1? Doubtful.
Just because something is remotely possible doesn't mean it deserves serious consideration.
There are enough modifiers and role possibilities that exist that "anything" can be true.
So why bother then?

The truth is you have to go with what's more likely.
Why does everyone ignore the nature of the kills? Why do so many ignore that Mafia don't know who their Traitors are and are just as likely to have made that kill? It meets the theme better too. The other kill seems much more SK-like than a Vig. CSPVG flips and didn't flip insane. Those are my core assumptions, those things that make the most sense.

All these pulling strings to show how Hunter might be scum and arguing for a lynch based on nothing but either confirming Bookwyrm's sanity (which provides us nothing as his reads are of dead players) or the oddball chance CSPVG was insane which requires both bastardized flips and bastard roles.

Sorry, but the simpler explanation is CSPVG was sane and cleared Hunter. Throw that out and do we have anything else of use? Might as well use Random.org then...

Who said the Vigilante would have only 1 shot?

I am not sure what probabilities have to do with what flubbucket is saying. Do you mean about the Bookwyrm627/CSPVG/Hunter16X16 thing? Yeah, I am not really paying much attention to that currently. Seems like a kipper; probably Scottish.

You mean flavor? You are asking the wrong guy.

avatar
RWarehall: Why do so many ignore that Mafia don't know who their Traitors are and are just as likely to have made that kill?
I can't answer that one. I wasn't assuming that at all.

RWarehall: The other kill seems much more SK-like than a Vig.
I try to stay away from assumptions like that. WIFOM is WIFOM, even if from a moderator. Given this moderator, even more so.

RWarehall: <more CSPVG talk>
*shrug*
What did bler mean by ? Was it purely a joke or was he hinting at town having a reanimator? Also going back [url=https://www.gog.com/forum/general/forum_mafia_38_murder_on_the_wing_game_thread/post513]this post seems curious to me because I heard a gunshot last night. Seeing that there are no bullet kills what do you all think happened?

Hunter65536: What did bler mean by this? Was it purely a joke or was he hinting at town having a reanimator?
I won't confirm/deny a particular role exists or doesn't exist in the game, but I will clarify that specific post was just a topical Good Friday/Easter joke. It would have been quite the thing for me to design a role that had a power that only worked on one specific calendar day of the year, right?

<scribbles notes for next game>

Krypsyn: Given this moderator, even more so.
I'm sure I have no idea what you mean.

Done! And random.org says...13.

Ok, then.

You have a deadline: it is currently 3:03 pm (PST) on Thursday.

Christ is the resurrection.

Are you sure you are not assuming too much?
avatar
Krypsyn: Are you sure you are not assuming too much?
Assuming how? I heard a gunshot last night which startled me awake, I'm purely talking evidence here. It wasn't a dream in my case.
avatar
Hunter65536: I heard a gunshot last night...
Onomatopoeia?
avatar
Krypsyn: Christ is the resurrection.

Are you sure you are not assuming too much?
I get what you're saying now, because it was a sound like a gunshot doesn't mean it was one. Is that what you were saying?

Hunter65536: I heard a gunshot last night...

Lol, how often do you get a change to use that word?

I heard a BANG (I also was not dreaming).

Exactly.

cristigale: Lol, how often do you get a change to use that word?
So seldom that I actually googled it to make sure it was actually a thing and not a vague memories of a drug induced hallucination from college. (well, not precisely true, but I did Google it to copy/paste the right spelling :P)
Off to bed.

You have a deadline: it is currently 2:57 pm (PST) on Thursday. Roughly 39 hours from now.
@Trent – I’m finally getting back to your question. I don’t have anyone acting overtly scummy at this time but here are my observations:

Drealmer- totally different this game than the last few. Could this be a scum tell? Staying quiet to not let anything slip? Be silly but not accusatory to avoid negative attention? Possibly.

Flubb - I thought flubb was scum yesterday. If Hunter is scum, flubb is either town or not on a team with Hunter. Today, it seems like flubb is onto something. Not sure how much emphasis to place on this, also not fully sure what all of it’s about.

Hunter – if Hunter is scum, he has played it well. I’d prefer that Bookwyrm visit Hunter tonight as opposed to lynching him. If I’m wrong, CSPVG is likely sane town. If CSPVG is sane, the poison comment still makes me leery.

RWarehall: Has had the most comments that I might interrupt as scummy. He could just as well be a Fireproof scum as a Fireproof Vanilla. I also can see his actions fitting a vanilla trying hard and we’re simply butting heads. BTW, I don't know if his actual title is Fireproof, the term seems to fit with he described about his role.

Trent – your play has seemed consistent, but I think you are consistent regardless of alignment.

There are a couple of things I want to check before saying more. That will have to wait until tomorrow, it’s bedtime.

Krypsyn: @flubbucket

Assume A=1, B=2, ... , Z=26

Determine numerical value the first letter of your name squared.

If odd then add 11, if even then add 10.

Divide the resulting number by the square of the number of characters in your name given in your PM.

Is the value you are left with an integer?
Thanks.

Tried doing maths and now I've lost feeling on the left side of my face.

RWarehall: Why does no one trust CSPVG's read? Yet everyone trusts Bookwyrm despite him changing his claim?
...........<snip>...............
Well let's look at CSPVG's post.

avatar
CSPVG: ...........<snip>...............

All of this lead me to conclude that Hunter is Town.

...........<snip>...............
This sounds more like a conclusion than an investigation result.

Logically Hunter5678 is 100% Hunter since CSPVG stated Hunter1234 could poison someone.
