Kilmer is best, really, but Keaton is great too, for sure. Kilmer is one of the best actors ever, imo. He's right there with Anthony Hopkins and Robin Williams and Max Von Sydow and a few others.

dedoporno: He was cool in Dogma but was DA BOMB in Phantoms!! But seriously, I started to like him more and more in his later movies. He's better Bruce Wayne/Batman than Christian Bale. And I really like Bale and thought Affleck will butcher Batman.

I thought Keaton did good as batman, but I liked Bale better. If Dedo says afleck did a great job as batman I believe him, I even like Ben as an actor already ;-)

I just don't like actors who take themselves too seriously (probably why I mainly like comedies, actually). Keaton is the one who seemed to have the most fun with the role, at least in my mind.
