If there is a godfather, we have enough corroborating information between flubb, dedo, and dessimu that it seems highly unlikely their claims are anything other than legitimate. Hunter's town confirmation is not as concrete as the rest. Dedo can vouch Hunter did nothing N2. I haven't seen anything to raise my suspicion. If we have a godfather, I'd venture it lies in the remaining unconfirmed players. I'm not convinced we have one, but it seems like a possibility.

CSPVG has been at L-2 for 17 hours and L-3 for over 24 hours. The two votes on him are solid town. If he was town, a scum team of 2 or 3 had time to lynch. I have not been overly suspicious of CSPVG (apart from a possible team with leonard) but this looks like we may have found scum. His quick hammer on Lift was a possible tell. At this point, I am comfortable voting for him.

I am still suspicious of trent. Hyper has seemed town but that would mean there are 2 or less scum remaining.

@cristigale: with all honesty, I think we should discard the option of "one scum Mafia". Because one scum would mean no scum chat. And considering that this game is very interesting, I bet my left arm and right leg, that yogsloth made a Mafia team and there are at the very least two scum. Might as well be three. But not one.

I can't count...had it in my head that lynch required four votes not five. I saw yogs post, but did not read it closely until after I posted.

This means CSPVG was not as close to lynch as I originally thought. A three man scum team could still lynch, a two man team could not. I'd better re-read CSPVG once more and see if I'm still comfortable with a vote.

I agree with this, one does not make sense. Given that the opening flavor indicates the LAMIST group is responsible for the opening kill, I believe we have at least a 2 person scum team. We could also have a three person team or a two person team and an additional third party still remaining. I was thinking of someone's suggestion that we have two serial killers. But unless yogs is playing us (I don't think he is), a single mafia is not really a mafia and a single remaining SK does not fit with the game flavor.

Stopping for a quick bite. I have no idea for sure how many scum there are, I was basing my speculation off of a typical Mafia game with 25% scum, meaning there are probably 3.

Any progress on that? If not would you say there will be any before we reach the deadline considering how busy you are lately (I'm not questioning the RL stuff, I'm honestly interested in whether or not we should wait for something)?

The quick hammer of Lift is the first thing I noticed that is a possible scum tell.

After flubb's claim, CSPVG posts include:
#504 - initially expresses suspicion of the claim and asks flubb for full claim
#506 - Makes a second request for a full claim
#543 - Similar suspicions but also adds that his suspicion "has a lot to do with my feelings concerning Dessimu", also indicates he has dedo "tenuously leaning towards town"
#604 - "Really, I'd mostly like to off Dessimu or Hunter to test out whether or not flubbucket is lying, but no one will go for that." Also asks dedo if dedo really wants him to claim (from dedo's #601)

#636 - Says he was a bit quick to hammer Lift

#720 (responding to Dessimu) On D3, (posts #504 - #636) CSPVG consistently expresses suspicion of flubb’s reveal. I can understand how town might be suspicious. Scum would be trying to cast doubt.

On D4, after flubb has confirmed dedo and vice versa, CSPGV is still suspicious of flubb (#693, #697, #702). I struggle to see why he would still be suspicious of flubb but sometimes its hard to let an idea go. My reasons on why scum might do this is WIFOM. I agree with flubb that #693 seems like fence sitting which is a scum tell.

In #720, CSPVG responds to Dessimu’s vote. His last comment asks for our reads on trentonlf. CPSVG mentioned some suspicion of trent early in the game (#285, #384). He has trent leaning town in #534. On Day 4, he mentioned trent once more (see below) before he asks everyone for their read on trent in #720. The request comes when CSPVG is in the spotlight and is at L-3.
Was the request in #720 an attempt to divert attention? If CSPVG is town, such a question is expected given the small pool of scum suspects. The timing, however, seems suspect.

Not yet (day was more busy than expected), but I got on to start my re-read on CSPVG, and if things go as scheduled over the weekend, I expect to get my post(s) out before the deadline.

CSPVG asked for our read on trent…

There was some speculation early in the game about trent sharing the player he disliked. What he shared was obvious flavor to me. I found this consistent with what he is willing to share and not share from a PM. Nothing else really stood out from the first two days.

At the beginning of D3, he is the first to suggest a no-lynch. (noting to add, it just caught my attention)
During D3, dedo accuses trent of role fishing. Nothing appeared to come of it.
Near the end of D3, trent claims Town Vanilla on his own volition. The claim seemed out of the blue. Not scummy per se, but it stood out.

Trent’s first post on D4 was what really caught my attention:
I’m still fairly suspicious that this was a slip. He’s been really quiet since then. I know he’s involved with real life stuff, I’m all for giving players slack for RL. The timing is unfortunate.

Somehow HSL feels a bit more scummy to me than trent, just gut feeling though. I would probably go with CSPVG at the end of day if I'm unable to find anything else. There's still 38 hours, lot of time.
