The point is how do we know it is correct? If he is scum, why would he through away his cover on a wrong read (saying a towny is scum) unless by lynching them we lose. And if he says someone is town... then we don't lynch them and thus don't find out if his read was correct or a lie.
As for staying alive and pointing out more townies, while we no-lynch. How long exactly is it going to take before we decide we're being played? All they need to do is kill the same person he finds is town. Are you going to immediately turn on him if that happens tonight? Tomorrow night? We might have lost by then!
I'm not big on the lets wait long so it's we're more likely to hit scum... because more townies are dead. It doesn't really help, mafia will eliminate the people least likely to be lynched and we'll just be stuck in a worse position.

Ok, on second thought this seems unlikely. There would have to be four scum to win in two deaths. It seems likely to me that there are three however, which would result in us having just one death leeway.

Sorry I have not posted yet today until now, I've been on the road all day traveling. It's my daughters Spring Break this week and we are at a resort in Branson MO, should be a lot of fun this week for sure :)



A no-lynch is only viable IMO if we believe flub to be telling the truth. It gives flub the chance to investigate someone again tonight and either clear another townie or find scum (if he survives to let us know).

If we no-lynch and flub is lying all the has to do is claim another person is town tomorrow and leave it to us to decide who to lynch from the pool of uncleared people, and he would probably have "cleared" his scum buddies, so we would lynch a townie. We would just think we were unlucky and lynched a townie and know for sure we would get it right the next day and lynch wrong again and lose.

I think flub is probably telling the truth, that's why I suggested the no lynch after he claimed Dessimu and Hunter were town. It comes down to taking flub at his word or not. He is either scum pulling the ultimate scam or town trying to save our asses from losing. flub is hard to read, but I don't get a scum vibe from him. Of course I am the one who bought his "town arsonist" hook line and sinker too....

flubb - are you saying that scum has a single power role? Or am I misreading that? If so, how would you know?

I'm thinking we'll have a deadline Tuesday @ 1PM PDT (which is now GMT -7, I think). That should be more fair to our international faculty, I hope.

I think everyone is done for the night, time for bed. I was fairly convinced that flubb was town. My suspicions are now piqued.

Of course I don't know anyone's role....except for myself.

My point is solely based on Leonard's "logic" and my Vote on CSPVG.

We've had THREE TOWN VANILLA DEATHS and you gurlz are unable to fathom a simple town cop claim as legit.

It's interesting how all of a sudden Day 3 got quite and slow. I am inclined to be believe that we are on something here.

As for what to do, we either no-lynch and give ourselves a chance to exist a little longer. Or we take a chance and lynch most suspicious person and then we lynch another most suspicious person tomorrow. Before completely losing this game, we can still let ourselves one misslynch. If I was in favor of no-lynch earlier, then I am no longer. Why?

Lets assume we have 3 scum (as in worse case). And that flub's claim is true. 6 suspects for me, for Hunter, for flubbucket. And only 5 suspects for any townie in that list of 6 players.

- We lynch someone today. Two highest suspects for me are CSPVG and Leonard. The third suspect in my case is always rotating - it could be anyone among cristigale, trentonlf, HypersomniacLive or dedoporno. I will ponder a little which one of two I am in favor of lynching today. Now... If he flips scum, we get another possibility of misslynch and we are closer to winning overall. If he flips town, we get one last shot on Day 4 to make a right lynch.

Thus, we have minimum two lynching possibilities before losing (if we lynch wrong both times).

- If we voted no-lynch Today, we would be one Town player shorter on Day 4. What to do? Either another no-lynch or we take a chance and lynch most likely scum suspect. If we are wrong in that lynch, we lose the game.

Thus, only one lynch before losing the game.



The certain flip of any player, combined with whatever happens at Night is much better information overall to analyze on Day 4 when scum hunting.



So once again - NO LYNCH IS A WORSE OPTION THAN A LYNCH.

That said, who do we lynch? I believe it's fitting to lynch either one of two: CSPVG or Leonard.

I went back a bit to check Leonard's posts. It's interesting how they became a lot wordier and analytic once CSPVG was suggested as a lynch candidate.

Also, Dessimu wasn't on the plate for Leonard unless no lynch and then, when a Cop claim came out and confirmed both Dessimu and Hunter, boom! Suddenly scum!

Where was that passion when we were lynching townies?

I already made a few long posts about Leonard and in here I will only say that, that I don't like how he:
- hints of him maybe being scum and then mentioning how slippery he is
- hammered drealmer without much consideration
- poked bler to hammer Lifthrasil
- wanted to lynch flub, Hunter and then me (I know I am Town, so I believe flub; and thus, Leo seems eager to lynch us, townies)
- is/was indifferent of who we lynch - was more concerned to end Day 1 and Day 2 because of deadlines
- time to time gets "confused", "forgets" something
