Two long posts back-to-back was a bit much, perhaps. And it's fair to say my format could have been clearer. Though in my defense they were more than an hour apart.
@Hijack - I didn't kill the thread! I was the only one online for like 2 hours :)

That's a better ballpark, yes. I'd even say (think I did in an earlier post anyway) that wyrm is moved off my radar, at least based on everything on the table presently. I'm giving him a more or less neutral now. I mentioned him and Ix in a post yesterday where I said "I have them as" but that was one of the posts I was rushing - that was actually supposed to be "I had them as..." referring to where I started the day. They've both moved up/down since.

As a side note, 16 player game is brutal. Even down to 14 people now, it's hard to keep a read on nearly enough of everything in play. Someone else is now pinging a bit, but egads, I haven't had time to give everyone a careful read.

Still have something like 6 players I've barely re-read at all because they didn't ping anything on first pass, yet that's almost half the field. If I ever do mod, remind me to keep it to 12-13. ;)

Haha, you may be on to something - it's quite likely that in an old mansion of the Prohibition era not every room has its own bathroom. I guess that both adaliabooks and HijacK, if actually locked in their rooms, needed to pee really badly.

On a serious note - @yogsloth, trentonlf, and dedoporno, not really taking this seriously, just a crazy idea that crossed my mind.

I made the mistake of letting loose in RW's game on D3, and it resulted in him regrouping, putting up a decent enough defence that got us looking elsewhere, and avoiding getting lynched. I assume you do remember how that Day went, yes?


My theory is much simpler, actually, but I see that adliabooks either neglected or refused to answer my related to it questions.

I'm not supposing or suggesting anything. I'm saying that as it is, your claimed block/jail is not confirmed, and if it was a town one there's no gain in revealing it, as it would say nth about your alignment (since you didn't perform the NK) while exposing a town power-role. Who'd benefit from this?

And while you're worried about being "tarred with the same brush", you have no issue pushing for a possible town Roleblocker/Jailer to expose themselves, even though it comes with no advantage for us at this point.

He does seem quite pushy, but I'm not sure if it's telling of anything, as it doesn't seem different from how he went after Vitek last game when no-one wanted a piece of him; perhaps the difference this time gives him a boost to keep pushing? I'm keeping any eye on this for now.



While re-reading with a clearer head, Leoanrd03 caught me attention (again), and it made me realise that I might have done something I don't like when I see it, and have said so more than once in the past - get tunnel-visioned.

So, I'm currently doing a re-read on him, and will be back a bit later.

Which is part of what makes his wagon useful for town if we're wrong, as I noted when making my vote. You may disagree. And 4 more people would still have to make some sort of explanation for getting on that could be analyzed (3 if one assumes HSL is building to one). Or perhaps we push him to claim and that scuttles the wagon anyway.

Though I would say your concern hinges on him actually being town, doesn't it? If adalia flips scum, some of that single-mindedness ends up looking good, whether or not it was analysis or just pure gut.

To the extent I find your post out of character, it's that normally I would have expected you to leave that unsaid to leave the trap open longer. The day only started 48 hours ago, the wagon's only half-way along, there's a bit of analysis paralysis in the room (votes on 6 different players), etc.

When I analyze your post in light of all that, it seems mostly like you stated it explicitly as a defense of not getting on. Which is fine, in and of itself.

Looking wider, there seems to be plenty of fervor and single-mindedness at the table. E.g. Flub has been on yogs since somewhere around post 150, Ix seems fairly caught up in wyrm (and perhaps now those who look like they're taking wyrm's side), etc. Because it's dispersed, it doesn't tell us much.

Is adalia bait as well as suspicious? Indeed.

Now, for comparison, let's say we swing to your choice: Leonard. What does that wagon look like? 8 people saying "He's lurky" or "His vote on Krypsyn was bad" or "He drew me to look like a sand penis." Too easy to get on with not much more than gut/playstyle.

If you're wrong and he flips town, what are you left with?

This would occur with anyone pressured though. However, currently, adaliabooks is the only player getting any concerted pressure. In fact, it seems like certain people are trying to dissuade debating any other targets.

Something just feels off for me, and I am not sure what it is. I want to see more reactions, I want to see more pressure spread around. I am getting the distinct feeling quite a few others want the reverse.

Off, somehow. Like there is a piece of the puzzle I am missing.

I play this game by forming patterns. Whether an action or reactin seems consistent with the hypothetical pattern informs many of my later stances and opinions. I am sure everyone does this to some extent, whether consciously or unconsciously. The trouble I am having currently is that it isn't adding up on Day 2.

The bit about the two claimed roleblocks/jailings is the tip of the iceberg. The way some people are subtly (or perhaps not so subtly) broaching the subject of multiple factions is interesting, as well as how others are quick to smack down such discussion.
